The IE 800's they dont require much power but if you clean up the audio and give the larger drivers a bit more power it will sound amazing. (Over power them and let them take what they need.) Fakes will just max out power no mater what. Hooked to a proper DACK you can break the coils and possibly blowout your ear drums.

Sennheiser purposely didn't send you the exact model because they knew the stuff you got from China was real and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The factory probably leaked the specs or even produced more for their own side hustle - this happens all the time.

After your last video with the IE800, I purchased some on wish. Ended up getting them for free as they took so long to get here (Melbourne Australia) They sound alright but just not quite right, sort of muddy/underwater sounding at certain frequencies. They sound great some times but not others) Doesn't sound as good as some AU$70 (same price) skull candy ear buds or something
