I like how so many people get so defensive about the fake. Maybe they got fooled to bought a fake Constantine zippo somewhere and in denial, or they are the vendor of these fakes...
Do you, by any chance, have an original Constantine Zippo? Wanted to see the differences between the original one and that fake one :) thanks for the videos!
I was aware that this was a fake one when I bought it. The price was to low to be an original one. I just wanted to see how the quality was. So I was not fooled by anyone.
+Zippo_Norway Hi, nice video ! I think It's a nice lighter although it is a fake, well, where did you buy the fake zippo lighter Constantine ? and How much you paid ? because it is a very nice lighter and I am interested Thank you
+Zippo_Norway Thak you for your reply, I saw the lighter on aliexspress and the price ranges from $ 17.96 to $ 20,28 or so, thou hast paid less? and How long does it take to get there? :) sorry for all these questions, (and the my bad english) but it's the first time I buy on aliexpress
+Antonio Di fusco I paid 50 USD for three pcs. It took approximately 3 weeks from China to Norway. 17-20 USD for one lighter sounds normal. Don't think about your english, mine isn't better than yours. =)
+Zippo_Norway Hi man, I'm sorry if I write you again and I know that you aren't an employee of aliexpress :) I try to buy the lighter on aliexspress but he said me " this product can not ship to your country " I did not understand why... you'd know by chance tell me why? I'm asking you because you've already bought on the site thank you
Hmm...I don't think you can call this fake, looks pretty legit and the differences could be due to the fact that this was a zippo lighter manufactured for Japan and not US.
Jayden Jozeph Chan agree, I think that's not fake, I have one that's from Japan but still made in USA, the guarantee is like this one but its still original
i just bought a zippo style lighter. i'ts not trying to be zippo tho. and it's named zorro at the bottom of the cover. tho the "lift to fill" thing is realy thin. Is that a problem or?
I was also wondering if you thought you were buying a genuine ZIppo and got a counterfeit, or bought what you have on purpose as a novelty. If you got cheated on ebay, would you mind posting the name of the seller so the rest of us don't have problems? Thanks for the interesting video. The inserts look too close for comfort!
I agree. I don't think this is fake. The Zippo engraving on the bottom is too legit. Japanese buy these in bulk from the U.S. and then put really badass engravings on them. So you're essentially buying a completely genuine Zippo like you would anywhere in the U.S.-- ony difference being the really awesome engraving on it. Zippo should really think about putting better engravings on their lighters because, honestly, you can't find any cool Zippos like this in the U.S.- only mediocre ones. All the cool ones come from Japan.
And BTW. Both the Zippo boxes and the instruction manuals look legit to me. I doubt Zippo has a "universal" instruction manual or box- I'm sure there are variations. I don't think that proves anything. As far as the Zippo engravings on the bottom goes.. you're comparing a bronze Zippo to a regular Zippo- might want to take that into consideration.
I'm thinking about buying either this one: www.kingzendo.com/armor-zippo-sterling-silver-brave-troops-lighter-p-1283.html or this one www.kingzendo.com/armor-sterling-silver-heart-sutra-zippo-lighter-p-927.html. Notice the price on these? That's because they're Armor/Sterling Silver Zippos.
+Ryan Stanley Sorry, but you're wrong. This is in fact a fake. 1. This specific design was created by Zippo to commemorate the TV series Constantine. That's why this specific design is so widely counterfeited. 2. The felt on the bottom is not Zippo felt. It's clearly a Chinese knockoff.
+bipul rayamajhee That's a ridiculous conclusion. It's marketing itself as a specific brand, in an attempt to evoke perceptions of quality, when it has absolutely nothing to do with that manufacturer. Just because it can "make a flame" doesn't mean that it can be subjected to the same amount of wear and tear, environmental conditions, and made with the same standard of production. Just because the lighter works doesn't make it not a knock-off.
Would avoid aliexpress! I bought a "constantine" lighter from there and after waiting three months for it to arrive, it wasn't even the right one! Pathetic.
Hi you said they are pretty much idnetical at minute 7:13. They are not. Booth rivets at the fake one are broken. Stop your video at 7:13 and take a deeper look.
we cant found on aliexpress, www.aliexpress.com/item/wholesale-Copy-high-imitation-Man-brand-Lighter-father-armor-Constantine-Crystal-Case-with-zipppooo-logo-Gold/32437584640.html?spm=2114.01010208.3.247.xKN4xM&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_10,searchweb201602_4_10037_10017_10021_507_10022_10020_10009_10008_10018_10019_101,searchweb201603_2&btsid=5b926e76-3df6-489f-921f-ddf17dc66623 we dont want like this, could you send me your zippo`s link?
Haha, why did you buy a fake one? Were you scammed on eBay or something? The real Constantine zippos are made in Japan I think. Where I live it's usually around $130 USD. Pricey. I only have one zippo myself (Spectrum Buddha, L 12) but I love it to death. I use it all the time. Planning on growing my collection soon... How many Zippos do you currently have? Anyways, great video man. I'm a new subscriber. Looking forward to more reviews. :D
I knew this one was fake. I been collecting Zippos for three month now. I have approximately 80-90 Zippo lighters, and still collecting=) Thank you for subscribing. More videos to come.
Noticed some sellers have tons of brand new zippos for sale that have inserts switched for a Chinese butane insert. Hmm, where all the real USA inserts are being sent to?
Not Fake at all, I suggest you do a lot more research on Zippo Lighters, and also watch the How it's made videos on here and you will get more information.
Mike Kelsey Why? How can you say that this lighter is a real Zippo? There is misspellings on the insert. The quality is shit compared to other Zippoes. I bought this straight from China. I bought it as a fake.... and it is. How can you say it's not??
@@thingblaze5754 you do realise no one gives a flying fuck, zippo is just a brand, if it says zippo on it, then its a fake, otherwise shut your mouth you dumb fuck
