Imagine trying to run the lec right now. I would have no idea what to do with only one watchable team in my league, and I would probably try to invent some type of magical format where g2 just played themselves over and over again and none of the other teams got any matches
Dom and Yamato watch LEC every week together. Of course they will agree on more stuff if you have long discussions about things you will end up coming to a logical resolution when both of them are able to be swayed with solid arguments. That's why I like this show with Monte since they haven't "shared notes" before and this show is where they have the discussions for the first time.

Pretty obvious the fraud alert was weak when the teams chosen are TES that just came back from saudi world cup + played LNG and BLG KDF (they are placed maybe 1 spot too high after the round robin (like you said that's not wildly above expectations) But i guess with no NA and 0 interest in the shitty LEC teams it's hard to find something to talk about
2022, LCK have 7 decent teams. GEN, DK, and T1 were on the World Champ's level. HLE only ramped up in the Regionals, and beat LSB and NS. AFS had Kiin who have the best top that split

Monte not biased? 😂 Love the guy, but that's a clown take if I ever heard it. Dom wasn't insulting Faker at all; he was insulting his play in the Trist/Corki matchup, which is factually true. And if Dom, a former pro, can't comment on Faker's bad performances, then literally no one in the community can because no one has the same pedigree as him. I don't understand the mindset of someone making a comment this bad.

Im confused. Dom likes it when T1 is bad, so if they are just a bad team why would he want them to disband, shouldn't he want them to just stay together and be a bad team? Although to be fair he said they should disband last summer too, and at Worlds we saw why
I also like how Yamato and Monte trying so hard to tell everyone that Dom isn't hating T1 for no reason and the next second Dom just slap their face. It's funny everytime
I generally am fine with teams like t1 identifying the meta is weak for them and trying to find other ways to win the real issue is when u try to slam meta and cant do it, like during those roaming top months, you had teams who realized that wouldnt work for them and tried to play someone who can use the free lane, I like that stuff but if T1 is going to keep trying this half and half thing of like we want to avoid it but will still do it badly sometimes then they probably wont recover until the meta shifts.
It's quite amazing how much Dom insists on how EWC doesn't matter and still think BLG is the best team in the LPL so soon. Maybe he's right, but LPL are still the hardest major region to predict results. Yes, GenG is still easily the best team in the LCK, but having a bad meta read isn't new to GenG. Worlds 2023 was practically lost for them because their meta read was trash. It also didn't help that they faced the same opponents in both MSI and Worlds that year so lol. If EWC didn't matter, then LCK wouldn't cite the tournament in their previews. Hell, it looks like GenG's loss in EWC lit a fire in them and now they're even more determined to be the scariest team LCK has ever produced. I do want to see if GenG can go the distance, but it does get boring if every game is them just winning by outmacroing their opponents and then win a crucial fight to snowball their advantage to end the game.
Just like when T1 is dominating. Kinda happy to see that LCK isn't a 1 team region like some others. GenG and T1 are good rivals since only diamonds can sharpen diamonds. I hope another tean will reach their status soon so it'll be more exciting

It's already destined that T1 will struggle due to the lethality changes and crit buffs since AD mids/tops will be viable. You can't trust Zeus on it except when he plays Vayne or Zeri (still not trusty on Zeri because he follows his intrusive thoughts to go ham flash in and nuc 6 champs including himself)
SKT haven't been on the top of LCK for the last 2 years and a half. And" LeChoke'vy" has been beating them consistently and just won MSI but i guess he isnt at the top. How do you get burn out of being at the top when you dont win.
When my team loses or plays bad they are burnt out, when other teams do they are choking. When my team win it is an important tournament, when other teams so it is not.
