I remember buying a Professor Z from a Dollarama between probably 2015-2017 that was missing information on the base. I always wondered about that thing, but it must've been one of these. Neat!
@@MrDocket The eyelids are properly colored on mine but the wheels are just like the one from the video and don't roll very well. The rear right wheel has a black dot in the middle for some reason. The black splatter on the side looks exactly like the fake one, too. He also doesn't have a black outline around his windshield. Maybe mine was one of the earlier variants and they messed up the eyelids on the later ones, but corrected the windshield?
Honestly, i think the bootleg Lightning McQueen looks a lot better due to the fact that the actual model is WAAAY more accurate and proportionate to the actual film model than Mattel’s attempt, paint could obviously use some work tho P.S. now I kinda wanna get some of these guys, where do I get them?
It's just a great year for cars 2 stuff, most of the finds I've had this year have been cars 2 related! Snagged a target store display this year and it's the crown jewel of my collection.
I know these, the cars shifter made a community post about these ones, most of the cars are accurate, specially mcqueen, pretty cool for being prototypes, nice video!
@@MrDocket Oh…I see…they looked so convincing, convincing enough to be prototypes. Then again, we know Mattel, their prototypes look WAAAAAY more different than these counterfeit diecasts
