Can you do the world a favor and make a video explaining how to map out switches and how to build a simpit like that? There are companies out there that sell them for the cost of a sports car and then there are plans for shells you can get and build your own. The thing is getting it to the working panel phase. Awesome setup man, have fun
Hi! Did you checked The Warthog Project YT page? He made a fantastic job and explains everything. Of course he based his pit on DCS, mine is for BMS, but basically the concept is the same. For Inputs I use Pokeys cards, very easy to setup, no coding needed. Just wire to them switches, buttons, knobs, encoders and configure them
@@giovannilombardi2678 that is legit. Yeah i have seen his videos but more him flying. I will have to revisit it. Thanks for getting back with me and once again, very awesome setup man. My buddy in Cali, his dad had a back room with a fully functional MD-82 cockpit and it was a lot of fun. I'd really love to do my F/A-18C in my office area. Doesnt even need lights and screens bc i do VR, but to have all the switches where i need them would be awesome
you have a very nice completed cockpit, but flying with a monitor that limits your view. You should consider getting a Quest 3 that can do mixed realty, the bottom half showing your cockpit, then the upper showing the virtual world 360 degrees around you. It'd be 10X more immersive than looking at a screen.
