335 feet in the air, 90 degrees looking STRAIGHT DOWN! Falcon's Fury may very well be the world's most terrifying drop tower! Watch this video! Footage provided by Busch Gardens Tampa.
As soon as we started tilting my big cousin said "what if the press the wrong button and the release the harnesses!" That got me dead scared and but I loved it.
Great ride and AWESOME addition to the park! DEFFINITELY changes the BGT skyline! Was one of he first public riders during the first soft opening, i have ridden it about 67 times since opening :D Great upload!!!
I Absolutely LOVE this ride I go once a week just to ride it I went one day and it was the only thing I ride for 3 hours. I wish I couldve met you guys from Theme Park Review i watch your videos all the time! I love coasters, flat rides, for that matter anything that is really daring! Keep the videos coming!
Tampa is my home town and I lived less then 20 minutes from Busch Gardens for years! I been to that place soo many times when I was younger. I think it's about time I go back and check out Falcon's Fury and everything else they came out with that I haven't seen or rode yet. I am only an hour or so away. :)
I'll be on this in just over two weeks, I can't wait! Gotta say this is the one thrill ride currently that makes my palms sweat just watching video of it
I went to this ride a couple days ago. It was my first time ever in a drop tower, and trust me, this ride was not in my list of attractions to visit in Busch Gardens. But a friend of mine insisted so much, that I ended up seated looking down at 300ft above the ground. Now, in my opinion, the worst part of the hole experience was waiting to reach the top of the tower. When the seat moved 90° I was OK because I knew it was going to happen. A girl that was by my side kept screaming since this moment until she figured out everything was over. The drop was fine, but nothing compared to SheiKra's first drop. But that's something good, I mean, in Falcon's Fury you don't feel like you lost your stomach at the top of the tower (A horrible feeling you have in SheiKra). Overall, a quick nice ride you should not be scared of trying. Trust me, if you survive SheiKra's or even Cheetah Hunt's drops, Falcon's fury will be a soft, cool experience.
That sounds good to me. Now I know which one I should get on first. I'm not a fan of those drop rides but fuck it, my trip to Orlando has already been booked (for Universal and Disney) but I guess a quick drive to Tampa wouldn't hurt.
Great interview Robb, my employer (Masonite) has their world HQ in Tampa, at some point they will fly me there and I can spend a day at BG, and I am positive this will be the highlight!
This is so thrilling. I felt like I was going to fall out of my seat, so I was pushing in the seat and smiling and it dropped & at the end I was smiling ear to ear and knew I would go on it again.
Ive got an idea for a drop tower ride, Every seat has a button that becomes active once you reach the top of the tower, When someone presses the button, the gondola drops. If no one presses the button, You stay up there until the ride drops itself after a minute or two or the ride operator does
It was AWESOME, absolutly insane. While we were holding up there I was thinking,Oh God this is it, here it comes the end. I mean, those 5,6 seconds they left you up there..
Im almost 10, and my stepmom and my bff convinced me to ride. It was my first time on a drop tower. I didnt know you flipped over 90 degrees. When i got to the top and flipped, i cried. But when the ride dropped, i was like, "omg bestride ever!!" People think its scary, its fun. If a almost 10 year old can do it, you can too!
I notice you guys use a DSLR for recording on the ride. Why not a GoPro 3+ Black Edition? Great video quality with wide angles and super easy to mount to bars, etc.
omg I absolutely hate this ride! I went on it twice and the first time I felt like I was going to die and the second time I threw up once I got off. And I LOVE roller costers...
