What was up with that "touchdown"? Was Matt Ryan penalized for taunting, and the TD came back?

@@rmobnation9395 He was called down at the half yard line and then a taunting penalty was called that made it 3rd and 15. Rough.

They played tough as hell all respect due.

If you want to say Ryan was down that's fine but when was the last time that taunting was called on a quarterback? He didn't do anything wrong and was probably still pissed about nearly having his head ripped off right in front of the official and nothing being called. If that's taunting then so are 80percent of the plays in football at every level. If Ridley would have played it would have given us a lot better chance to win but he quit.

Its easy to get completely shaken by throwing 3 interceptions and just choke the rest of the game. Allen took his time and shook it off. Mentally strong to. I love this team

2 rushing TDs, decent personal rush yards, BUT-3 ints...

Oddly enough, in a way it was actually one of his best games. Passing wasn't working, partially due to the weather and receivers letting the ball plunk off their hands, but Allen manned up and refused to lose. He literally dragged his team to a win by any means necessary.

Reminds me of Madden, playing against guys who like fast Qbs & its 3rd/or 4th & 15th you plan for a scramble; you have the whole field on lock, and they take off for the 1st anyway, damn! It's nothing that pisses you off more.

I've never seen someone turn mean in the middle of a season like Singletary. It's like he woke up one day and was like "You know what, my life is violence now." He used to rely too much on his elite vision and elusiveness, which slowed him down as he doesn't have the burst to repeatedly have to accelerate again after each juke. Now he makes one good cut and then runs someone over with his underrated strength. That's good coaching.

@@Kune35 he's been good all year, but they kept going to moss who looked like total garbage behind our garbage run blocking OL. Singletary has been over 5.0 ypc pretty much all year and is the only back that can make something out of nothing that's there most of the time. He's also carrying tacklers this year, which makes him more dangerous.

Back to back weeks where he runs over a guy a lot bigger than he is.

It's a trend alright... from the Atlanta defense. They've never heard about basic tackling fundamentals. I've seen more bad angles and missed tackles from this team than from anyone else.

The falcons always disappoint but never quite too much, so you always think they have shot to be competitive. They win games you don't expect them to and lose games you don't expect them. They'll start off 2-7 and finish 8-8. Underwhelming mediocrity at its finest is all I can say.

@@jeremyphillips3087 No, on review it turned out he was down before the endzone. Taunting got them back from the 1 to the 16, there was no TD to overturn.

There’s a lot of hope Matt Ryan was robbed of a touchdown and Kyle Pitts was hurt at the end of the game… if Calvin Ridley played this season the Falcons most likely would’ve probably made the playoffs or at least would’ve been playing the final week with a chance. … it’s sad but seems like we’re building

@@chromebomb Matt Ryan's knee was down before he crossed the goal line. He gave himself up and then he taunted Poyer after the play. He got flagged and it ended up costing his team the game. But the Bills are 1 game away from another AFC East Crown.

Wrong wrong and wrong. Ryan did not give himself up that happens when qb slides. He dove head first untouched into the end zone. It was a td plain and simple. He said get the f off me to the dude because he tried to take his head off. Horrible home cooking today from the refs.

I agree I don't like Allen running so much but you're underestimating the mans toughness, he's in the springtime of his youth! In time he'll need to become more of a pocket/rollout and throw type of QB but for now I don't have a problem with it.

That’s Buffalo football in the winter. It’s always been that way. Good hard fought win. Unnecessary to hop all over Josh’s case for the ints, he doesn’t ever have games that anymore and the announcers critiquing him, obviously didn’t watch Jim Kelly in the 80s and 90s. In the winter wonderland snow games back then Kelly threw ints all the time. The ball is slick. It was the run game with thermon thomas or as boomer used to call him on espn, thermal thomas who would carry those games with the run. They were always ugly games. But as the great Marv Levy always used say, “when it’s too tough for them, it’s just right for us” and we just found a way to win on the ground. And same thing happened today. We just ran the ball down their throats. But Another play off berth and 1 win from back to back division champs, so Let’s go Buffalo 💙❤️

Both teams were making alot of mistakes but honestly it made the game more interesting. Falcons had some time management issues and matt ryan taunted to early. Bills thought they already won when they were 14-2 and josh needs to be more careful with the ball.

None and we shouldn't it would be dumb to do with the cap space Ryan still has on his contract. You don't waste multiple years of a rookie QB contract while you still have to keep a 40 million dollar QB for 2 more years because of cap problems and dead money. Plus this years QB class is sorta garbage i wouldn't touch it while we have way more bigger needs than QB. O-line and D-line need to be priority 1, 2, and 3. We can look at QB's in next years draft or the 1 after and have a better cap situation to work with a better team built around the new QB and more years of his cheaper contract.

Matt Ryan is still not the problem. It’s the damn o-line. He has absolutely no time to throw the ball therefore a new qb would not solve this issue at all.

Ironically, Matt Ryan's contract is holding this team hostage...falcons can't sign anyone in free agency that would help the offensive line....expecting rookies straight out the draft hasn't worked for the falcons AT ALL....only thing left to do is let Matt get a ring somewhere else like peyton....he's not winning one in atlanta in the next 2 years so.......

@@dimitrismylonas1167 So it was second and goal from the 7, Ryan went down too early so the touchdown wasnt awarded and it was third and goal from the 1. Ryan was penalized for taunting which was 15 yard penalty. From there it was two incomplete passes for the turnover. The highlight package took over from there pretty much. I think that was it. Sorry about the -14 - that's going to sting for a while!
