Fall is here! 🍁 Although the weather needs to remember its fall🙃 but Im not letting it stop me from enjoying the fall vibes! I had the best, most cozy day, book shopping at Barnes with my daughter for a fall book haul. I got a good mix of fantasy, romance & even a horror book by Stephen King?! Who am I??? 🤣🤣 it’s not scary vampires. It’s romance which I know sounds crazy haha. Mom just read and really liked Unwanted too! But check with her because it might have some “open door” scenes.

Hey Jordan, Happy Saturday. You can’t go wrong with a good romance book regardless of the time of year it is. 😊 I absolutely love Stephen King books especially during Halloween. I can’t believe there’s a hocus pocus book, this is the first time that I ever saw it. 😮😊

My fiance loved Misery. I also went and got the exclusive addition of Binding 13 yesterday. I haven't read the book yet so I'm very excited to read it.

I've read Filthy Rich Vampire. It's a solid 3 stars. You will immediately want to grab the second book of the series after finishing the first one

Omg the fall decor on your bookshelf is so cozy and cute! YES!! I love One Dark Window 🖤🖤🖤 HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! I have never heard of Unwanted by Mia Sheridan 🙊 I'm excited to add it to my tbr. It sounds good! I plan on reading Phantasma this weekend and hopefully getting Bonesmith by Nicki Pau Preto and The 13th Child by Erin A. Craig. They all just feel like the perfect reads for October 😂 I hope you enjoy your books! Happy spooky season! 🎃🕯🥀🍂🍁👻

I just got Unwanted through Kindle Unlimited this week. Plan to read it for a prompt in your twilight reading challenge - atmospheric setting, hope it fits for it it seems like it would. My friend read Filthy Rich Vampires and really liked it. I just started a re-read of Pet Sematary!

@@Jordan_elaine I don't think it's that scary but I don't really get scared ever. I like to think it was being read Grimm Fairy Tales as bedtime stories at age 2 ( thanks dad! 🤣- but I still to this day Love Grimms so for real thanks!) King says it is his scariest book because of how he got some of the inspiration for it setting wise. I do think it is one of his better ones. King books are mostly a get under your skin type of books more than jump scares. At least in my experience. Some of his novelllas ( The Body - which Stand By Me is based off of and The Mist are really good and short too.)

I have read both One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns, which are not horror. I honestly don't know why these books have been given the horror genre tag. I hope you love all the books you bought 😊
