Fall camping in Northern Michigan

We spent a weekend doing some fall camping with friends in northern Michigan. We were at a state forest campground located on Lake Margrethe west of Grayling.
It was cold and rainy most of the time, but we had an unexpected blue sky pop out for about an hour. With off-roading, campfires, and a great group of friends, we made the best of the bad weather and had a good time camping.

If you seen amphibious chart on the lake it's most likely a engineer Float bridge company. Pushing the bridge sections together or being used as ferries to transport across the lake. The lake is pounced lake Margerieth

Driven past that campground several times. Looks nice. Did u use a nearby state park to fill up water and then dump? What size and brand generator are you using? Nice Airstream

Hartwick Pines State Park is the closest for water and dump, when it's not off-season. We usually travel with water on board, and we stopped at a Flying J to use their dump station on the way back to the sticks-n-bricks. Our generator is a Firman dual-fuel 3200 inverter generator. We haven't used it a lot but it has worked well for us when needed. Thanks for watching!
