I like the idea of having apples on display and for snacks on the coffee bar! I’m wanting to do a fall one this year and I planned to have some little coffee snacks for me and the hubby but having apples as well would be such a nice healthy option for our kids, who love fruit and are very attracted to anything that is supposed to be for the grown ups!😂
2, I think is my favorite. because I love apple theme. But 1, I like too. I love Autumn colors, smells, taste,...a season that really wakes up your senses. 3, I like color and themes. Definitely neat n clean looking . tfs
Hi Rebecca! I love each look! But my favs are the first & last looks! I especially love the last look because it can easily transition between seasons! Love it! TFS!❤🍁🍂🍁❤
I liked the 🍎 apple bar the best. They have bagged apple spiced tea too in tea bags. That would be a cute thing to put either in a jar or in a cute little open tin box or glass square dish.
HI! They are all lovely... I would have the apple theme for September, go with the pumpkin theme for October and the last one (nice and simple - just add a thankful or grateful sign) for November and Thanksgiving time - so that you are down to a minimum when December comes around -- now, you are ready to switch it all up for Christmas =) Thank you for all the great ideas! ~ Maria
I have a small kitchen so I keep it minimalist, which is my fav. I’m keto, so snacks are in the cupboard. Just coffee, cocoa and tea stuff. I love the old tin signs I can find on Amazon and this kitchen is even too small for that.
Love the minimalist look. I think I’d stand up the cutting board and use it as a back drop and maybe scatter some leaves just to give it some color. Love your ideas. Keep them coming. God bless.
I like a mix of apple and pumpkin. I love the smell of apples but being fructose intolerant I can't have them. So love the smell. Apple, pumpkin amd cinnamon all smell amazing together and the colors are all fall!
I think the Oatmeal Cranberry sign looks better on the jar. I like the pumpkin spice but I'd add a bit of the maroon color from the apple spice version.
For your Apple themed coffee bar your Grandmas Brown Cookies are. delish with diced apples and walnuts. You will not be able to stop eating them. Brown Cookies are a hit here in SC too! All of your ideas are cute🙋
I will definitely try them with diced apples and walnuts! That sounds so good! Are your brown cookies like a softer version of biscotti? That's how my Grandma always made them! My dad might like the apple version better too because he didn't really like the pumpkin variety I made...he loves the traditional way his mom made them with dates and walnuts but apples sounds so good and I love extra cinnamon too 😋
Maybe do a month Apple theme and a month pumpkin theme. Like apple theme in September and pumpkin theme in October and then in November do thanksgiving theme and then in December a Christmas theme. In January a winter theme with snowflakes and marshmallows with a hot chocolate theme and then in February a valentines theme with hearts and pink and red straws and red hots candy and heart shaped paper doilies. With those glass or plastic see through hearts... what do you call those table spreaders.
On deciding what to keep and what to let go, I’ve heard to take a picture of your area/room/space....and look at the picture, not just the space....and it’s much easier to critique it. I use this tip regularly to add/take away from my space’s decor. Anyway....you did a good job, per usual. Use what YOU love! My rule of thumb is....if “I” love it...it gets to live with us. If not, bye-bye! 🥰 But, I have to “love” it....not just like it, or even like it a lot. Gotta love it for it to live in my house! 😂
I love the pumpkin spice theme best and pumpkin spice doughnuts too please (LOL)! I really like how you used the pumpkin tags to write on and I think the one looks better on the jar versus the lid. HAPPY FALL! :)
i like the pumpkin spice best. Those cranberry oatmeal dunker cookies from Trader Joe are my favorite! I think the little sign looks better on the jar rather that the lid. Love, love your ideas!
Everything looked lovely and inviting. I am an Apple 🍎person and a Tea ☕ person, so I vote for the Apple themed set up. Maybe add some yummy Apple Cider Donuts 😉
I think the sign looks better on the jar not the lid. I would do a combination of both. We don’t drink coffee so I would never take up precious counter space to do a coffee bar, but I think they look fun to decorate.
Love the coffee cider sback bar. Adding in some cocoa would be a nice touch. A small bottle of peppermint schnapps out of the way of kiddos would be nice. Whipped cream in fridge. How about some mulled wine spices? With a bittle of red wine, I prefer a merlot, simmering on stove or a small crock pot with the mulled spices for a party. Too cute!
I love all three looks, and totally want to to come to your house for coffee! I definitely think label tab on jar, not lid. And finally, just want to say, my *favorite* part of the decor was that you used & reused stuff from previous projects. I always wonder about the waste of constantly crafting, and all the turnover. I love that you were incorporating previous projects here.
I just love the coffee bar idea and the candy in the coffee mug and the 💕☕ thank u for showing us these ideas and I can't believe to try setting up my coffee bar with your chic ideas...I do love the apple display one 🍎
Thank you! My aunt had 3 cats who got into any decor she has out! Cats are so funny like that! My Iggy wishes she could get up to the counters but she can only get to the counter on the otherwise by going on to a stool and then up onto the counter from there. 😂🤷♀️🐶🐈🐱
Its Denise Walker Rebecca😂 I use your Grandmas actual recipie and make them around the holidays for Uncle Bob. Did not have dates last year but had a lot of Apple's so thought why not!? Hope Louie enjoys them. Say hi to everyone👋
Hiiii!! I didn't recognize the username LOL! Those cookies are favorite with Uncle Sam too! I'll try the apple version this week and also get more specific measurements for the pumpkin version to share as well. I'll tell everyone you said HI!! 🤗❤️😍😘
I like the apple themed coffee bar because it's different from everything else you see on RU-vid... And my kitchen has cranberry red as the accent color 💗👍
I would hand the coffee mugs with hooks under the cabinets like in a row side by side, that would give you a lot more space on that shelf for goodies. Just a thought. 🤔🤗🍎
All three look really good, the simple one is great for someone who has limited space. The second is colourful and has warm touches and a homely feel. The first is colourful with a happy Halloween style. I love the coffee grounds with the tea light idea, does the heat of the candle help release the scent of the coffee at all?
Thank you, Samantha! I think the coffee smell from the grounds with tea light was nice but very subtle (I also had that red bath and body works candle burning which was actually a very strong fragrance) Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
I love the simple minimalist styles. Because it's less work to clean and dust. All are nice but apples better out in open air instead of jar. Might cause mold...?What do you think?
Good point about mold! That's actually why I left the top off the jar so they are in the open air and we will usually eat these over just a couple days but I had lemons in a closed jar a couple years ago and didn't use them fast enough and a couple of them got all moldy
🍎 Was going to do an apple-honey tiered tray in kitchen so you gave me some good ideas. Love the pumpkin one too. Not a big minimalist so the plain is too plain for me.
I love pumpkin spice doughnuts! I loved both pumpkin spice and apple cider coffee bar looks. I really like the oatmeal cranberry sign around the jar instead of on the lid. Also where did you get the cloche/glass dome and stand that you put the maple leaf cookies in? I love how you come up with so many different looks and how you design all the party, holiday and get together tables, you have an eye to make things look absolutely amazing!
