Long time subbie - Not super religious but watching mere makes me want to crack open my bible again. I don't care what anyone says, mere is clearly so so happy making this content and I'm here for it. I'm 24 now and I remember watching her videos in 10th grade to feel better on bad days. I was so happy when I found out that you became a jesus follower several years ago. And, even though you have not been posting a lot these years, I have frequently come to your channel and checked if you posted something. I have been really truly missing your videos. Same my sister's and I used to watch her daily back in middle school/highschool. We used to think she was super cool cuz she lived in the town next to us in Cali. But it makes sense now that I'm older, the town she's from is high key racists and uppity. There was a documentary I seen a lil while ago about how the people from her town hate that the town next door "Pasadena" has black and Latinos and when they come over to "their town" it's a horrible experience and we're not allowed apparently.

From what I can tell, she has pretty fundamentalist views, so I would think she believes that God has created animals to serve humans, to be consumed etc.
Was there some controversy around her? I used to watch her in like 7th and 8th grade but haven't since, and now I see all these comments about her and she hasn't posted in a year 💀 someone catch me up to speed😃
I'm not super involved, but she promoted purity culture for a minute, then her mom was caught supporting trump and allegedly even stormed the capitol... Also the thing with being miraculously cured from her ed by turning to god was a bit questionable too. That's the gist, I think.
I've been watching you since the beginning! You've always had a glow about you, there's just something different about you!! I love your videos and your positive platform. haha I need advice. I'm struggling with my relationship with god, I'm currently in the air force and just feel lost. I'm an aircraft mechanic currently stationed in Germany (originally from Chicago) but I work with all guys and feel invisible. I haven't had a genuine friendship in years. It's just hard to relate to people around me....I'm typically shy and I don't like drinking and that's all everyone wants to do. I cant remember the last time I was happy. I need change! Wheres the best place to start in the bible? Also how do you stay on track with seeking god and devoting your time to him?
Hi Sabrina, I was also in the military! I also worked with all guys. I know how hard and isolating it can be. I’ve been there but I promise you it gets better. The time will fly by but what you do with your time matters. I suggest joining a local church near by or attending one on base. Try to meet other people in your unit who have the same hobbies as you. The best place to start in your Bible I would say is the New Testament and just read through the gospel. I used to read my Bible after PT before work. I will be praying for you in your journey. Please know you are not alone and what you are doing is not overlooked. You matter and the work you do for our beautiful country matters. Please hang in there and know that it gets better. ❤️ -Laura
