I travel to New Hampshire for a guided fly fishing trip along some of the most scenic rivers you will ever see. Lot's of fishing action caught on video for your enjoyment. Cheers. Visit www.lopstick.com for more information.
True to form and reputation, Scott, you (again) delivered on your promise: A(nother) excellent installment of videography of aerial footage of 'eye candy' of the Autumn leaves from far above the colorful canopy. I've not been fly fishing in decades, and your advance warning was, indeed, spot on: "You're gonna WANT to go fly fishing after this!" #TrueStory And perhaps the best part? Your comment about "The Best Wife Ever!" is truly apropos! Somehow, I missed that not only was she along with you to share in this awesome adventure, but it was also her time and talents behind much of the camera work (and b-roll) this time, too! #WishingYouBothManyYearsAndManyAwesomeAdventuresTogether!
Started the video...walked into the kitchen to make a coffee for myself and heard the music...Instantly thought tho myself "Crap...I must have clicked on one of Shawns' by mistake!" lols. Nice video Scott, that river looked in excellent condition, glad that you managed to catch something.
Always welcome my friend...And I see that you've bought another drone, after the flyaway of the first one...Tape your name and address on this one, just in case the same happens and someone finds it...IF they're honest, you'll get it back lol.
Nice video. New Hampshire is beautiful country. Glad you enjoyed a great time. But dude! You had me laughing when you used Shawn James' intro music! I thought I was gonna see Callie run past with Shawn carrying an axe!
Hello Scott, this was an awesome video. Thank you for sharing. Well, you were right, I am hooked and it's all your fault. I am organizing my fishing gear today and preparing for a 3 day trout fishing getaway to the Sierras this Friday. afternoon. I am really enjoying your videos. Take care and be safe out there. 🤗
Really well done! Great job filming and editing this too. I especially like the talk at the end with some instructions - you're right...i wanna go fly fishing now....
What an awesome opportunity. The colours were outstanding. For a few years we travelled to the states either Myrtle Beach or Florida around the Canadian thanksgiving and going through the Carolinas or Tennessee was always amazing. Very comparable to Ontario northern colours. So enjoy your videos. The drone footage was spectacular and you speak very clearly. I can’t believe your wife didn’t try to compete with you. Thanks for sharing and can’t wait to see what’s next.
Beautiful film work. Awesome video Scott. I really look forward to each one of your videos now. I have never had the fly fishing bug, but as I get older it becomes more appealing. I have been a few times, but prefer 4# spinning gear. We primarily fish 10-70 miles offshore in the Atlantic where our baits weigh more than those trout!
Great video! Yeah people get intimidated when they see a false cast and even more so when they see the price of the gear. For anyone interested, there are starter kits on Amazon for as little as $30 that will get you out on the water. After a few instructional videos (15 minutes is about the total minimum time) and another $15 in flies, you're ready to get you started. Dont have trout or salmon in your immediate area? Go down to your local pond and fish for some bluegill and largemouth bass. Even small, 6" bluegill put up a decent fight on a 5wt rod and that same rod will be enough to haul in some larger fish as well. If you like it, then later you can invest in a better rod, better reel, waders, pack, fly tying equipment, etx. Hope this helps any newbies out there get into this awesome sport!
New Hampshire looks beautiful. Fly-fishing is on my bucket list, too little time it seems. Very enjoyable once again - I see a video coming titled ‘Spa day’, lol.
Great video Scott. I wondered who was videoing! I love fly fishing as well. We're lucky to have some great rivers in southern ontario for steelhead and salmon, in fact I have one right in my back yard that I spend a lot of time in.
Nice episode! Be weary of the title ‘Fall for Fly Fishing’... once bitten it can be consuming. I got bit over thirty-years-ago. It’s a passion. Akin to hunting, with rod and reel. It was passed to me by my father and I have passed it to my children. It can be pure poetry... Best wishes, MG
Nice video and the fly shop was cool. Around here we fish Stillwater mostly and rainbows up to 19" can be had so our hooks are a bit bigger and 5-6wt rods the norm unless you go for catfish on the fly. For a good read check out Lefty Kreh's book : My Life Was This Big. If you learn to tie you should check out other good videos/tv shows- the new fly fisher, brian chan and phil Rowley post a few videos on their Stillwater site as well.
