I love this video on how you prepare your amazing garden for the harsh winter. I started buying amazing angels and fairies for my garden, thanks for the information on how to store them and the fountains. If possible can you do a video on how in the Spring you clean and get your garden ready for summer. Your garden is one of the best on RU-vid❤👏👏

Hi Edith, I think that's a great idea. In fact, I could do that now even though I've already done a lot of spring work already. Look for something getting posted soon, maybe by this weekend. Thanks for the nice comments and the idea!

Oh how funny!! Minnessoooota!! I am in the cousin state…. Wisconsin! So now I know that if the plants survive by you, they will survive here as well which makes me happy!! Thank you for the inspiration 🌷

Hi neighbor! Yeah I had to throw that in. Even though this video was last year, it's just what I'm doing in the yard right now.

@@timandlinda oh I hear you! I’ve been doing nothing but mulching leaves and putting them in the flower beds. I have many plants on my list for next spring thanks to your inspiration so thank you and I’ll be looking forward to more videos to come 🌺

Do you have a link to the grow lights you use? Thanks for the video.

Hi Alex, Not exactly, but the bulbs would be similar to these. They fit a regular 4 foot fluorescent fixture. www.homedepot.com/p/Philips-40-Watt-Equivalent-4-ft-Linear-T12-InstantFit-LED-Tube-Light-Bulb-Daylight-Deluxe-6500K-545624/308367839

Jimmy from Indiana again. My Mamaw used to winter over geraniums in her basement too. I don't have a basement, in fact I live in a mobile home. Do you think there is a way to save my geraniums?

Hi Sue, you must have missed the short bit in this video showing the plants stored in the basement. We have grow lights down there. Thanks!

Good morning from Sydney 🖐, I have just finished watching your video and I didn't realise what an amazing job you have to do every Autumn. We are just about to start our summer and to be honest I'm not looking forward to so much heat. (It is not enjoyable at times) thanks to your beautiful videos I now have a few angels and a few plants, but of course no where near your garden. Thank you for sharing with us and I look forward to a brand new video next spring 🙏👍God bless you and your family. Regards Ingrid xoxoxox

Ingrid, Great to hear from you! I would rather be ending winter than just beginning it. Did you have rough weather last summer? Fires? I hope you have good weather and most of all avoid the dreaded virus. Take care!

I have a lot of respect for gardeners who live in cold climates. The amount of thought and preparation involved is huge. Where I live in ca we really don't have to bring anything inside. It doesn't get cold enough that anything goes dormant. The cons are that it gets so hot that plants like hydrangeas and sweat peas scorch in the afternoon heat and plants have to be watered every single day.

I appreciate your thoughts, Mel. Best of luck to you!
