Yeah! I'm looking forward to more graphical and stability updates. Although other players lag from your switch's perspective, the game still runs really well, and I'm excited to see how Epic and MediaTonic improve the switch port as well as the other ports and game as a whole.

The problem is fall guys runs on Unity engine unlike Fortnite with Unreal (ironic that epic owns mediatonic and still uses a competitor engine). The 30fps capped is no issue to me, but the 15fps on other players is distracting, especially on crucial moments like final round. I was planning to play it on switch, but seeing this, I'll stick to ps4 for the meantime.

A Switch Pro makes no sense at all. The Switch is already really hardtp optimize, because it has 2 dofferent modes you need to consider, making it like optimizing for 2 consoles at the same time. If you add the pro, you turn that into 4 modes you need to optimize for. So this will end up in nobod wanting to optimize the game for the old Switch anymore and new games becaome unplayable on the old Switch. And at this point, you can simply make a Switch 2 with actual improvements. Fall guys is simply not ment to run on a hardware like a Switch, the Switch is a GPU centric console. You can have beuatigul games on it, look st Mario kart or Luigies mansion 3 as example, because it has a good GPU for a Handheld. But its CPU is crap, with only 3 cores and a low clock speed. And Fall guys is a really CPU intense game. You dont need to be a genius to know, that trying to port a CPU intense game on a console with a bad CPU makes no sense. On a Switch pro it wouldnt look much better, because its uneffizient to have a Handheld witha good CPU and smarter to invest more into the GPU, vecause with good optinazions it will allow far better looking games. Besides that: The Switch consoles sold since 2019 are already a Switch pro, they have a updated cersion of the Tegra X1 chip and are faster. They are simply underclocked to make them just as powerful as the normal Switch, but save power. So instead of selling a new console, you could remove the clock speed limit with a Software update. The game would still look ass on the Switch, because a Handheld simply never has a good CPU. But it shows that a Switch pro just makes no sense at all

@@otozinclus3593 Your point about optimizing games for different console variations doesn't hold, due to Xbox variations (One, One S/X Series X|S) and PS4/Pro/5, not to mention PC's! Devs know what they're doing. Nintendo games with the platformer cute and rpg like elements are not computationally intensive, like a PlayStation 5 or AAA PC build.

Yeah their position on the course is updated in 60fps but their animation is low, they move like mr game and watch in smash, can look a bit odd but a clever way to maintain 60fps

Why is this a marvel? Fall Guys has no good Graphics. There are Switch Games that have way better graphics and run on 60FPS.

@@ultimatix89 rendering 60 chars at once is quite demanding even with the cartoony artstyle and being able to do it at a solid 30 on 2015 mobile hardware is quite impressive.

Yes, it runs great and they will update it so it will run even better in the future. 60FPS is possible when even a more beatiful looking Game like Mario Kart 8 runs at 60FPS

@@ultimatix89 I doubt they will do 60FPS on switch though. Xbox One is 30FPS. PS4 is 30FPS and thats been out for almost 2 years.

@@knuclear200x it’s not exactly a beefy machine 💀. It wasn’t built for frame rate it was built for portability. The switch never advertised 60 fps as a focus, don’t act like you were expecting 60
