Thankyou Corie for thinking of disabled people. Ive been disabled from a very bad spine for nine years now. I was a nurse and i worked si hard for years. I used to walk a lot when i was off work. Used to walk with my little sweet dog, go fishing and took him with me riding up into the mountains looking at so much of Gods beautiful creations. Im so glad u found your moms RU-vid channel abd ultimately yours. You all are such a blessing. Your music, cooking and daily lives are so uplifting to me and many more im sure. Its unfortunate that I cant explore and walk like i used to, but i thank God for all of you and showing us all this beauty. God bless you all and your family and friends.🙏❤️

Walking is the best speed. Just east of Asheville and north on the Blue Ridge Parkway is a Visitor's Center. Inside is a massive, nearly life-size photograph of a beautiful section of the Parkway with split-rail fencing alongside the road. The scene tempts you to step into it and start walking. On the photo is a quote from Paul Scott Mowrer. It reads: "There is nothing like walking to get the feel of a country. A fine landscape is like a piece of music; it must be taken at the right tempo. Even a bicycle goes too fast." The beautiful scenery in your video reminds me of that photograph.

I grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania and lived there most of my life. But now I find myself in Los Angeles, and every bit of my soul reaches for the woods. It actually made me tear up a bit to see the fall leaves. This was so beautiful, I miss this so much. Thank you for sharing.

Its so pretty here in Michigan! The golden leaves carpet the ground and the trees have orange, red purple leaves on them. The smaller leaves fall like snowflakes. I sure enjoyed your video!

I am one of those disabled people & I'm loving this walk looking at the changing colors of the trees! I have been SO tempted to get my walker & try to walk up the road to look out over the fields & see the trees & hear the birds, see the squirrels & such! I used to be able to walk our dog up there, but she passed away about 3 years ago at 18-1/2. Since we were both old we did well together! Lol! Miss my sweet Dixie Lee & definitely miss being able to get out & walk. So I have truly enjoyed this! I'm like Katie, cows bother me a little...we have pasture land behind our house the owner rents out to folks with cattle; part of the fence out from our garage has deteriorated so our son has been woke up several times thru the night and has wrangled the cattle back to the hole in the fence! He doesn't have to do it but he's afraid they'll be hit by a car or truck on this old country road. Now we & our neighbors have big ol cow piles in our yards! Ugh! Well we were forced to sell our cabin in Unaka N.C. I met you all at the hanging dog Baptist Church, and we came out to see you at the Swain County Fair one year. Now I'm recuperating from hurricane Ian in Florida and living my life vicariously through you girls.😊 Loved and miss the cabin, mountains AND Fall. I am grieving North Carolina right now. I was just back in northeast Tennessee visiting the whole last week wirh my dad in hawkins county, tn just west of kingsport. The fall colors were amazingly beautiful. I miss them northeast Tennessee changing seasons when.mother nature paints besitiful colors. But between spring and fall my favorite season is in the fall in October when the tree leaves begin changing into beautiful red,yellow and orange colors.

The trees around the pond are so beautiful! The colors of red, orange and yellow, so vibrant. The beautiful golden tree on the grassy hill, putting on a glorious display! Hi ladies, I’m just now in Sept.2023 watching this and I became emotional. In 2019 my hubby and me tried to move to either north Ga or NC. But for many reasons it didn’t happen and since those days I’ve often thought that God closed that door and as always because He knows our futures, I realized in a lot of ways it was best for us. I never ever stop longing for the mountains and her beauty though. One of my fav t shirts is one I got in Mount Mitchell NC, it says, “The mountains are calling and I must go.” It so aptly describes how I feel.
