So he fell in love with Charlotte and he couldn’t stand his own feelings so he sabotaged it with “I’m the master of the estate and you’re a member of staff”…..arghhhhhh ….she sure has gotten him to look at his demons…..roll on season 3
I can’t wait to see what season 3 unfolds…Colbourne will hopefully learn from his mistakes and grow in emotional maturity! And Charlotte will support him along the way. He felt he had to save her from himself because he loves her and also doesn’t want any shame brought upon her from any improper relationship due to her employment. ❤️
@@krisEworth Is being a "gentleman farmer's" daughter a higher social standing than a governess? Her status changed after he dismissed her as governess. It's the writers' prerogative, of course, but they could have written in that he had feelings for her, and left it at that.
