So cozy, love your fireplace ❤ We put one in our fireplace instead of the mess of firewood. We are both disabled, but have a wonderful life. I also have my mom’s Bible and read here verse’s and notes. I also have a brother and sister-in-law in Florida, I am praying for all affected by Hurricane Ian.

T!! Your channel has grown, I'm super excited for you! That fireplace is pretty, I love it in your room! Also, I've never seen a tater baker but I'm pretty sure I need one. LOL I am so thankful that we were spared the brunt of the storm, the path turned before it made landfall and we will only be getting wind and a lot of rain, nothing dangerous here in my area but I am praying for those further south as they endure 130 mph sustained winds. My heart is breaking for those in the direct path!
I love that your granny’s oil lamp is on display. I have my grandma’s Goofus Glass Oil Lamp. It has the cost my grandparents paid for it in pencil on the underneath side. It was found in the cellar of my parents house that my grandpa built. He cut all the timber and milled it. He made the cinder blocks from the creek below their house. Sweet memories should be cherished and put on display so our stories can be passed down from generation to generation.

We haven’t been to SDC in ages. Fall is definitely the best time to go. I love that you have your granny’s Bible. I have my moms and it’s so wonderful seeing what she underlined and the notes she would make. Love seeing her handwriting. So I also highlight and make notes in my Bible so that someday my children and grandchildren can see what meant a lot to me .

Thank you! We were there for the first time in August of 2020 and then again in September of 2021. It's just incredible. I was always a beach kind of girl until our trip in 2020. I still love the ocean, but I just can't get enough of those mountains and all of the wildlife. It's so peaceful!

Hi Sherry! Hot Springs is such a fun town! I have friends that live there! I most definitely will be showing what it looks like outside as the leaves start to change! We are just now starting to have a few trees with some leaves changing on them and I can't wait! I plan to take some drives around some of the most beautiful places around Northwest Arkansas too! Stay tuned :) Also, you are never too old to enjoy it! You should hop in the car here in just a few weeks and go for a drive this way!
I love LOVE the fireplace! Unfortunately none of our bedrooms are big enough to fit one. That picture was a steal for $3. And I enjoyed all your pictures from your vacation. I've never been to Silver Dollar City but that's definitely on my bucket list. And otters are my fav...after cats of course. 😃

I am trying to be more intentional about making our master br more of a sanctuary and less of a dumping ground of my random piles of stuff to be "eventually" put away. You're inspiring me, T. I would love to pretend that our bedroom doesn't become a dumping ground, BUT that would be a lie. LOL. However, since we are slowing starting to get settled into our home, it's becoming less and less of dumping ground :) If you pass through Missouri, you absolutely need to go to Silver Dollar City! We didn't stay for the night time activities there, but it's so beautiful and they have lots of fun activities! It's worth every penny to get in as well! If you have a chance to go at Christmas time, you will feel like you are in a movie. It's incredible. The pumpkin festival is pretty incredible too though! I just love that place!!!

I enjoyed seeing everything you got and I especially love the little hedgehog...adorable! I live on the east coast of Florida in central Brevard county. We're going to get pounded tonight and into tomorrow evening with the outer tropical storm strength bands of Ian. I appreciate you saying you're thinking about us and praying for us. I know the Lord will take care of me but it's still scary! Joshua 1:9 is my favorite scripture. I loved seeing your granny's Bible open on the table too!
Thank you so much Kathleen! I completely understand how you feel. I feel the same way every single time we are under a tornado warning. I trust the Lord, but the human in me just gets scared sometimes! Storms are the worst for me. I make my children wear helmets during bad tornado weather! Once I even snuck in while they were sleeping and put them on without them even waking up! I love that scripture also! My favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31, but I also love Luke 23:43 of course :)
@@ParadisePoint. I'm going to look up your scriptures and add them to my list! It's still blowing like crazy here and there are palm fronds all over the place but that's it. The Lord has taken care of me really well and I thank Him so much this morning! Ian should be out of here (my area) by tonight. There are some more disturbances forming so we just have to pray. I'll be so glad when the end of November gets here and hurricane season will be over!

@@ParadisePoint. Thank you! We're still having tropical storm winds and some rain. I can hear something on my roof but it's probably a palm frond. I hope it blows off. I don't know how I'll ever get it off otherwise. I'm so tired of this. I've been considering moving to the center of the state (they rarely get hit but they did this time) and this may just push me into it even though it's a huge undertaking with so much stuff in my house. I've lived here over 30 years so you can imagine! The Lord is in the driver's seat and I know He will show me the way!
@@kathleengill1273 your insurance company will take care of whatever is on your roof. Go ahead and call them to report a claim for storm damage. They will at least send someone out to check your roof, but it may take them a while to get out there to you because of the amount of claims they have. :) Hang in there friend!
