You actually could have did the mixture on a solid surface then scoop it up with the spatula and place it in the nail tip. I think I seen AlexandraDixon channel do this.
@@tatigirl3952 I put base coat inside of the nail for better slip, especially when doing ombré nails inside the nail tip and it also helps the polygel to stay better inside of the nail, but it’s not necessary since I’ve also not used base coat and the polygel didn’t separate from the nail tip
