The simple fact that battles like Bakhmut and Avdiivka are so well known only proves my point, while also showing that, at least up until now, Russia has been unable to launch large-scale combined arms operations. Ukrainian troops took Avdiivka almost without a fight in 14-15. Since that time, for 7-8 years, they have been building fortifications and using the outskirts of the city to shell Donetsk. Avdiivka is the only place where the front has not changed in the year 22. So it is quite logical that the city will be taken with heavy fighting

Everyone wants the war to end soon, but as long as the Ukrainian dictator is on the throne it will continue. Although it might not have happened at all if a peace treaty had been signed and Russia had withdrawn all its troops.

При активной поддержке огнём у наступающих большие потери несёт как раз обороняющаяся сторона, которую активно мешают с землёй и камнем. Посмотри соотношение потерь при штурме Кенигсберга, как пример. Или Измаил. Это если , повторюсь, наступающий имеет преимущество в огне. И никаких 16 тысяч потерь с российской стороны не заявлялось. @@rdxedf5923 Нет никаких мясных штурмов и никогда небыло. Это западные пропагандистские СМИ выдумали чтобы облить грязью русских опять. Были просто маленькие группые которые провоцировали реакцию и ждали когда более мощные нападут на раскрытые позиции. Да были потери но они всегда при нападении и все об этом говорят со друх сторон. Вот почему украинское контрнаступление было не очень удачным, слишком много потерь.

Какой смысл показывать неправильно, не понятно. Там в северной части авдеевки озеро, тут закрасили красным над ним почти сразу, фактически же там был только охват с запада и востока но над северной его частью контроль не брали долго. Также ширина прорыва с севера на юг в центральной части немного не правильно. Похоже анимация сделана по очень малому количеству кадров, взятых по состоянию с разрывом в недели, поэтому так странно аыглядит

Большая часть украинских войск в Авдеевке была потеряна. Часть погибли в городе, часть попали в плен, часть были расстреляны при бегстве через открытые поля. Мало кто успел убежать.

What's worrying here is that this is the first time since the pushback of 2022 that a ukrainian city fell so quickly. The main strategic line of this was relied on the ukrainian fighting spirit : they would fight until the end and never retreat. Russia had to bleed heavily for each square inch of ukrainian territory conquered. But here, it looks like Russia broke the Ukrainian fighting spirit... Something big is about to change in this war, I don't know in what direction, but we're entering a new phase, with great dangers.
