Reminds me a lot of Night in the woods, taking one day at a time and exploring well developed 2d environments. You can tell just from this look that the storytelling will be fantastic
I don't get all the rude comments, yes this does look like NITW but it also looks different and interesting in it's own unique vibe. Looking forward to see what it's like!
It's like these people have only ever played Night in the Woods and don't understand what a genre is. Games take inspiration from each other all the time, nobody is calling Elden Ring a Zelda BotW ripoff or CoD a Counterstrike ripoff.
@muchomango THANK YOU for saying that! The inspiration is pretty clear, but it has its own unique feel. Plus a game about the struggles of healthcare workers sounds really interesting!
@@muchomango496 but literally elden ring is a copy of mount and blade, same with breath of the wild, if zelda stayed isometrical it would be its own game. also, literally, ALL action shooters are a copy of doom except for arma, delta force and battlefield, they are their own genre. the thing is. why would anyone give a F about it being a copy or not?! shut the F up, play the game and eefing enjoy it! thats how most people started to love night in the woods, and nobody said anything about it being a copy or mario with furries
I don’t know if this is the same people, but this reminds me so much of into the Woods, (that game is amazing and does an amazing job telling its story) and so this gets me excited 🖤 so pretty
It doesn't matter whether something is an official Night in the Woods entry, or if it's inspired by NitW or even ripping it off, it WILL catch my interest. Looks like I'm gonna have to get an eShop fund card for this

Thats fair. They just arent for you then. Tbh am not been a fan of these indie titles either but mostly just check them out regardless to see what new ideas have been put into indies recently. Im more into metroidvanias like the Ori games or Hollow Knight. I like platformers more and miss those kinds of games which featured a souls like difficulty. Games like Ender Lillies Knights of Quietus is a perfect example of a 2D masterpiece which follows close to the artstyle of Hollow Knight but keeps the gritty difficulty of bosses while being able to weild spirits. Gimme another game just like that in 2D and I will check it out! Tunic and Cult of the Lamb were 2 other great ones as well! An adventure 2D metroidvania style game featuring backtracking is something I would definitely be interested in.
