On top of that the British didn't even have any tanks which the Japanese had a couple hundred. So while the British outnumbered the Japanese 3 to 1, the Japanese have weapons that the British don't.

The British general was dumb and he though that Japan would send more troops from the East so he put most of his men there to wait and the Australian general was bad at reading and Writing so his troops many times did the wrong things😂
