You could make a 3 hour video and I would sit and watch the entire thing start to finish. I really enjoy your videos ❤ the faffing, waffling and the projects 😊 I’m ready for the eclectic journal. I have a feeling it’s going to be really good and I am so interested to see what you put in it. Thanks for another amazing one sheet wonder. Xxx Many blessings 💙🦋
My mom was a seamstress and sewed at home nearly every minute she was off work (where she worked in a garment factory) 😂. If I was bored, I’d sit and look at her button box contents, sorting and playing until I threw them all back into the box for the next time. Thanks for this project! ❤❤❤
Thank you, Julie, for another great little folio! This was easier for me to understand than when we keep the 12x12” paper whole & do a bunch of scoring & cutting off bits. Though I love those little folios, too! I guess I’m one of those subbies who never gets better at my crafting & just hangs about for years! Haha! That was a very nice new closure idea, glad you got out your buttons! I have mine sorted by colors & types (wood, shell, brass, etc) into jam jars! They’re so pretty in the sunlight! Sorry you didn’t feel well, glad you’re better. The news just today said the US is seeing “that climbing rates of hospitalizations among seniors & children from COVID is raising concern”. Oh dear, not again, please! I haven’t seen any info on Europe or the UK, do you know anything? Take care! Erica❤Looking forward to the eclectic journal!❤
Julie, I watched the whole video and I nearly fell out of my bed laughing when you commented about falling asleep and falling out of your chair!! There should be a disclaimer about video my cause falling due to laughing hysterically and spitting out your drink, and possible loss of bladder control!! Your killin me Smalls!! ❤❤❤❤what a fantastic waffle fest !!
😅you gave me two good laughs with this comment Donna. One when i saw it yesterday and another now i've found it again😹 i think even Nala/Alan as we call her is laughing. Try a boil wash love😘😁🤗💜
Lol @ “ sheep in Minecraft” Omgosh. I have six grandchildren and love watching them play Minecraft!! Brilliant me woman!! Just a little note…. After contracting CoVid May of 2021, I lost interest in all crafts….. YOU, my friend across the pond, are instilling a desire to pick it up again. Thank you, Sweet Julie.🙏💜👍
Just wait til the film comes out sally😅 Glad you are getting back to crafting Mrs. COVID has much to answer for. My energy levels have still not recovered😐☺️🤗💜
8:40 it must be a Yorkshire lass thing, I’m forever getting semi circle punched pieces down my top too 😂 it’s good at catching dinner & tea ‘badges’ too 😂
Hi Julie! Am quite enjoying your videos......very well explained! Have picked up some helpful hints from you....Thank you! Watching you from snowy Vancouver Island on Canada's west coast.
Since I don’t really like orange, I love this paper pad. I love this little book. So cute! You know when I first started following you, many of the sayings you said were just like the sayings my mothers mother used to say. Her ancestors came from England. They must have been passed down. She was so sweet and so funny. I still miss my Granny. It makes me feel good to hear you say them. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕
This is fabulous! The paper is stunning. I do love Prima. I say 🍂 autumn when I want to sound more posh 😂😂🤣. Thanks for sharing your time and talent, Julie ❤
Catching up again Julie. I have a paper pack called Pink Christmas that I've been hoarding so I might be persuaded to make this project with some of it.☺💟 Val
A lovely little folio. I can't wait to try. Those papers are very pretty but I will use something from my stash. I have a lovely Stamperia pad I need to cut into😊 TFS❤
Ooo yes Stamperia would be perfect. I've been hoarding their pink Christmas pad for a few years now and will be doing something else along these lines with it. Thanks Michelle☺️🤗💜
Glad you are better! This is a lovely little project. FYI in Australia it depends where you live as to what type of weather you get eg I live on the Western Downs in Queensland an in winter we get down to -8C and summer we can get to 40C+ . Also we get very little rain as when it comes across the plains it splits around my town.
Yes, we also have Autumn here in Oz, followed by cold winters in our southern states albeit quite a short season. Snow falls periodically, more regularly in the south - Tasmania and in our "high country" in NSW and VICTORIA. Gail
Thanks Gail, I find it fascinating to learn about this stuff. My youngest has just started doing her A level in geography and is teaching me all sorts.Oz weather is one of those things I just realised that I knew nothing about😁🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns My pleasure Julie. I've only been following your work for about 3 months, and really learning soooo many new skills about junk Journalling from you. I've been a papercrafter for 20 ++ yrs, but just dipping my toe into the world of JJournaling and loving it. Was lucky enough to visit my friend in UK this past July - experienced some very high (unexpected) summer temps this year leaving our winter behind!
I love this and Prima always has gorgeous papers. Thank you for showing me how to set eyelets. My eyelet setter is the same as yours and I also keep locking it when using it
Thank you so much Hayley, i always though it was my big chompy fingers locking it, good to know it's not just me, still a bit anooying tough, but i'll forgive it☺️🤗💜
I know this vid is a year old, however, you are just so brilliant!! I pray you are well. I felt compelled to tell you how VERY ENTERTAINING you are. You have a good heart and with all your great little sayings…. Just let love love love it. My brother used to say, “Sally, whatever blows your skirt up. “ I still use that and think of him. God bless you, Julie!
Love that tub of buttons, I'm so jealous. Yet another fab project. Can we have a project with A4 paper please, otherwise I have to cover horrible, cheap 12X12's for projects when I'm making 25 at a time!!!
This is so beautiful, I just LOVE it. Thank you so much. I actually messed up twice before I got it right. One I cut up for scrap, one I adjusted and it’s a “ variation”, lol. Then third time’s a charm. 💕💕💕
What a wonderful one sheet wonder project Julie. I so love these one sheet wonder projects of yours. Love everything about this beautiful little album! Those papers are fabulous. So so scrummy! Been making one slowly alongside you. Taking a while as went away for a special wedding Anniversary and came back with Covid! Thank you so much for sharing this fabulous project. So enjoyed watching you as per usual. Ps, I cannot wait til you start your eclectic journal. Debs. 💜🤗
Lovely to see you Julie! Fabulous folio and very entertaining and enjoyable video. You always bring a smile to my face and brighten my day. I check every day for a new video but in the meantime I’m re-watching your previous projects. 😊
This is so beautiful Julie! I don’t know if we can still get that paper pad but I may check. Even if we can’t get it, those of us who have the Stamperia pink Christmas could use that for a similar effect. I do hope that is still available though. I seem to have similar color taste as you, yay!! That means I almost always love everything you make!! Thank you! 💕
Awe... LOVE these little one-sheet projects. Love the funny things Brits say. My mother often said, "You never know your luck till your shirt blows up." Mind, she never said it when we were kids. 😅 Thank you for the sweet project!! Take good care ❤
What a fabulous one page wonder! Definitely need to make a few of these for the holidays. You are always good to lift my spirits, and I really needed them lifted! Hugs 🤗❤️
Oh I love this project. It's adorable. I'm loving pastel Halloween! I'm usually die hard orange and black, but this yr. the pink is killing me 💗💀🕸🦇🎃👏 I looovveee it lol. 🩷🩵🧡
I LOVE watching your create, you're my favorite "youtuber"! I love listening to you talk and the things you say often make me lol, in a great way!!!!! Can't wait for more~ thank you!!!! 😀🌻🍁🍂
Hi Julie, loved watching you create this little folio! Gives me ideas for the Christmas crafting I’ve been doing! I enjoy your waffling (lol), here in Canada it’s “Fall” now, as today was the end of Summer. It was a gorgeous day, I was out gardening to prepare for Fall & Winter. I’ll have to remember to use some words from a Prima pack of lovely sayings, I have in my stash and hardly use. I’d love to see you do an Eclectic journal…oooh. Sending hugs, Gilly.
Thanks Gilly😊 i'm always late with the Christmas crafting, in fact i may give it a miss this year as i have my overgrown garden to sort out. The blackberries have gone wild🤗💜
Hi Julie, I just watched your video & I love it. So cute. You made the comment that you usually just had newbies on your channel. Well, I’ve been doing paper crafting for around 15 years & I’m here watching your videos. I learn something new from you regularly & I also enjoy making the items. So, thank you for sharing your crafts with us. My Mom was from Essex & came to the states after marrying my Dad who was in the Air Force. I never really paid attention to her accent until after she was gone. Now when I listen to other people from England talk it makes me feel warm & cozy inside. Sorry for rambling but I thought I’d share. Thanks.
Oooh! I can't wait to try this! Such pretty paper!!! Thank You for showing me how to use the eyelets with the little washers. I've got a lot of things to make - I'm making little folder-card-type things to put in the Advent calendar this year instead of candy. 24 of them - pop-outs, flip-ups, this folio - all different! 2" x 2.25" What fun! I always watch for your new videos, Julie! I've watched this one twice and saved it to watch again later! 💖
Miss Julie, I just love the papers you used. I tried to find it on amazon, but they didn't have it, so I will have to researcher for this. This is a beautiful one sheet wonder folio. You are amazing. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰💖💖💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
That paper and ephemera is just beeeeutiful! Sooo pretty, .. Well, I do think I may have to try making one... Julie, You make it look sooo easy.. Hope Youre all doing well, much Love and Hugs xx
This is so adorable. I love the pastel colors. And your "button box" brought back so many memories. Both my grandmothers and my mom had a button box so of course I have one. Can't deprive the children or grandchildren from running their fingers through it and sorting it, them dumping all back in. LOL. Thanks Julie!
Every home needs a button box Danetta. i used to take this particular box into school to do crafts with the kids and the teachers couldn't keep their hands out of it either😁🤗💜
A lovely folio Julie. I just love listening to your wonderful accent and waffling. You ALWAYS make me smile and often giggle. Thanks for another fun tutorial.
Love this and would be great to give as a gift. I'm looking forward to the Eclectic Journal when you're feeling up to it. I'm so sorry you've not been feeling well. Unfortunately, it's the time of year when all the crud comes around. I hope you're feeling better very soon. Take care of yourself, Julie. Sending healing juju and sunshine from California! 🧡
My granmother had a tin box full of buttons, and bits and bobs, and I just loooved to playing with it. It was a real treasure box😍🙏❤ I have missed you ❤ hope you are feeling better ❤ this was a fun prodject 😍 and even more fun will be the journal 😍😍 can't wait to see you make it 😍😍👏👏 lots of love from arctic Norrway 🙌🌼🍁🏵🍀🌹🌻
I have a bit of a button addiction Lena, i buy far more than i could ever use😘 that was just my colourful plastic ones. My mum always saved stuff like that, but sadly i don't know where it all ended up🤗💜
I only make ecclectic journals, can’t stick to one subject😂And personally I would love to find different stuff in pockets when going through the journal. Sometimes I make two pages have a colour theme or butterflies flying over two pages or such. Have a great weekend!
I was so happy to have my "waffles" with Julie this morning. OMG I almost passed out laughing so hard when you said, "Whatever blows your frock up." Besides all of that, the project was beautiful.
Glad to see you again. Hope you are feeling chipper again. Lovely one sheet wonder. Look forward to making an eclectic journal along with you. You’ve got me thinking of all the stuff that I could use. Thank you.❤😊
Lol… I love your videos Julie! Here in Australia we don’t call it fall either, we only call it Autumn. It’s definitely a colder time of the year. We do have extreme weather in some parts of the country, it all depends where you are. Here in Melbourne where I live, it’s far colder than some other parts of the country, our weather is also super unpredictable. We have a saying, if you don’t like the weather, wait a minute! Most seasoned Victorians know never to leave the house without a cardigan or jumper even in the middle of summer as we can go from 40C to 20C in one day 😂
Julie, I love everything you do. Not only because you make it look so easy but I love your style and yea your waffling. I also like that you don’t advertise digitals and such every breath. Thank you so much. I am an experienced crafter and I have pared down who I watch on you tube. And you are one of about 4. Lol Hugs and keep up the crafty fun. It’s a one sided conversation but I always answering you or nodding or shaking my head.
Thank you so much Susan, i know exactly what you mean, i don't like projects that mean you have to have exactly the same supplies. Some of us can afford to buy them and some can't. the links are there for those want to use the same products but it's not necessary, apart from the basics of course. I think we could have quite a conversation of the subject love☺️🤗💜
Cracking little one sheet wonder and love the closure - every day is a school day! I'm in Derbyshire and we have many of the same sayings. I really enjoy your videos because it's like i'm crafting with another me - i'm always wafflin' along with you 😀 Looking forward to the eclectic 🙂👍
Absolutely gorgeous Julie, as always with all that you do. Had me laughing with the 50 thousand buttons 🤣🤣🤣 and your calling yourself out when waffling 😂😂 you are the best and I was missing🥰🫶🌹❣️
Morning again Julie. Determined to watch this al the way through. I live in Stanthorpe on the Southern Downs in Queensland. Coldest place in the state. It has snowed here but not for many years. We certainly have plenty of frosts and freezing wind. We sre just coming out of winter here. A little school here at Applethorp has a sign that says coolest school in the state! 💖 Val Australia
Thanks again Valerie🤗 I did a bit of googling about your weather, but thanks for that, I love learning about stuff like that. If only I could remember it all. Hope you get to enjoy this uninterrupted love☺️🤗💜
It's taken me 3 tries at watching this video, finally got it watched and these are so cute. I have some 12"x12" papers and they are so gorgeous but I hate to cut them, any ideas? You have great ones so I thought you would know, 🤭💜
You always get there in the end Deborah. thanks love☺️ I must have read your message three times and not had time to answer until now. I'm not liking mondays this school year. Eldest daughter has Monday mornings off and youngest has Monday afternoons off😐🤗💜
Hello Julie, love this tutorial! I already did one with the same paper collection. Will do another one. Am inspired by your creativity. Thank you for sharing ⚘️
I already know the paper I'm going to use to make this! I love watching you create these one sheet wonders and enjoy listening to you waffle as you work. It would be boring if you just gave the instructions on how to make it. You are not the only one who hits the lock button unintentionally. I do it all the time. The first time I did it, I thought I broke it and had a difficult time getting the card with the eyelet out. It only took a half a dozen more times to realize I had hit the lock. LOL I also have large hands. I can't buy women's gloves unless they are stretchy. In the winter I usually get a pair of men's gloves. It doesn't matter, as long as they keep my hands warm.
Exactly love, i have matching feet too, a uk size 9 and my girls are size 10. Good job they're tomboys😅 I was the same with the lock button, took me a while to figure out what i'd done too and like you i thought i'd broken it😘😁🤗💜
Glad to have you back, always enjoy all of your videos. I sit and binge watch some of your older videos too and am so inspired to create each time. Can't wait to see your eclectic journal, it will be amazing I am certain.
