All the points you've mentioned are really great. I would just add two more points which I experienced personally. Firstly, for UG students, there are different programs to get the freshers involved, like orientation week. These are usually not offered for spring intake students. And trust me as an undergrad student who will be spending rest 4 years in that university, you wouldn't want to miss orientation programs. This is specially important for the international students. Now the second point is true for some states. Spring semester starts in January, which is the coldest month of the year. I personally felt such extreme weather kinda has a negative impact on overall setting down process. I know it sounds very silly, but while moving to a new country small things matter a lot. I find Fall semester more welcoming than Spring. Though these are not the points to consider whether you should go for spring or not. Rather, if you're going for Spring intake, be prepared for these.

@@srashtisaxena3130 I ended up going in fall but I have friends who got into my university in the fall and they didn't face any hardships as such. All of them got interns after one year , it's just that you cannot work the first summer you get here since it's been only one semester since you have arrived. But honestly it does not affect their chances of securing an internship or job in the future. Morever, it becomes an advantage for them to actually talk to the fall guys who will be graduating and learn how they are going through the whole process of finding out jobs and applying for them. because that's a huge sector you would want to enrich your skills in , that's gonna help you land a job or an internship.

I had a question. CPT : you said 2 months in fall one can apply for cpt. but tge rule is for 9 months. so how does those 2 months translate into 9 ? i could not get my head around that. otherwise awesome vid contentwise. i am going to shrare this alot..
I am planning to go for MIM in Fall'19, but it is not a STEM course. Looking at the current conditions in USA, is it worth pursuing or should I apply for some other courses?
Krishna Joshi you can look into MSBA programs. A Good alternative to MIM. Why a good alternative? 1) STEM certified (Please make sure the course is STEM certified by reading the FAQ on the university website, not all are) 2) Taught by business schools. (Business Analytics is about taking business decisions by analyzing the data) 3) 7 Years in USA on F1 visa: 1 year MSBA then 3 Year work experience (OPT). In the 3rd year apply for MBA program in b schools (since you have interest in MIM I think you might want to do a MBA) then again 2 years in college and 1 year work ex (OPT). So you get total of 7 years in US without worrying about the visa issues provided there are no changes in the visa and opt laws. After 7 years you should have found a employer who can sponsor you a H1B or you can go to Canada and get a PR (you should have got enough points by then to get a PR)
I have a query. For instance- Im in my 4th year, the year starts around late july to early august. Since the fall semester application deadlines are around Nov- dec, that means I'll still have half the year left, so can i still apply? Or will i have to complete my degree first and then wait for the next application dates? Any advice would be appreciated ☺️

I guess you can apply for CPT after completing 18 credits, prerequisites excluded. During first 9 months if you have taken 6 subjects and 2 of them are prerequisites you are not eligible for CPT.

HI PARTH , hope you fine , I applied MA in Industrial organizational psychology which is one division of in US universities , I could not get that as I dont have adequate background in Undergraduate studies . Right now I am doing prerequisite courses in india . My question is , For the purpose of getting H1B visa or PR which is difficult in usa after my graduation , DOES applying to canada is good choice where we can get the CANADA PR easy ?
Hi Parth! I still have a doubt regarding the summer internship point. Consider a 2-year masters program. A student taking the fall course will finish 2 semesters before the summer season, therefore he can intern at that time. Before next summer, he will be graduating right? So he will only have one summer to intern before he graduates (Please correct me if I'm wrong). Coming to a student who is going for the spring intake, he will only finish one semester before the upcoming summer. As you said, he cannot intern at that time. But he will have the next year's summer season to intern right? He would have only finished 3 semesters of his course by then. So, by the end of his third semester, he will be qualified to intern right?
The fall semester guy can intern in next fall/winter as well. E.g. if you come in Fall 2021, you can intern in Summer 2022, Fall 2022 and Winter 2022 and even Spring 2023, before graduating in May 2023.

I appeard in class 12th boards this year, and this is the time to apply for different universities for me but unfortunately I missed to apply for US and Canadian University for fall semester this year due to lack of knowledge. So I want to take a drop year after 12th only to prepare for SAT and apply for US and Canadian university. Bro, No university teaches about either ethical, or unethical hacking. It's a stream of study, where you've to learn by yourself, or some hacker privately teaches you.
@Bala VS Mate, there is a difference between ethical/unethical hacking and cyber security; And no university offers a course which makes you a criminal, because what is ethical for you, might be unethical for the law enforcement agencies.

Apply for Fall 2020, As you need atleast 6 months preparation for GRE, and Toefl; And 3 months for processing your admission application by university.
@@a.k.k05 Bro, this is the minimum time require; If you wish to pursue MS in US. In general it requires 1 to 2 years for good universities research, preparation for GRE, and Toefl, applying into universities, sorting out your finances, applying for visa, and other preparations. Don't see this time as wastage, instead see it as an investment for your future.

Okay the thing I am not so clear on is that while the first summer gets 'wasted' (can't the first summer be used for extensive research work etc.) you always have the second summer to land the internship of your choice. In fact the biggest advantage I see here is the time you get to prepare for job and internship interviews if you are a fresher. In the case of fall your internship search starts from day 1, with a very hectic balancing between preparing for interviews and doing your courses. I feel spring let's you salvage two full summers to make it more spread out program. Please correct me if I am wrong, I am really contemplating taking up spring given the Covid situation and I wanted to understand if that would be a big mistake.
Yes, You can apply for undergraduate studies in US, but apply for top universities, and prepare well for visa interview, as visa officer gonna ask some difficult questions regarding your intent, and finances.
I would suggest you to acquire information from IDP, as they are govt. Funded and won't charge any extra amount like other institutions. Moreover, they will prepare you for visa interview as well and provide you accurate information regarding foreign studies.
@@navyareddy8408 Kaadu, they can but not right after the joining, To be eligible for an internship, one needs to complete at least two semesters (or one year) of academic coursework first, but if you work full time for 12 months with CPT as an intern, you will not be eligible for OPT.
@@navyareddy8408 most internships doesn't last tht long, even if they ask, then just start the OPT and try to convert into full time, moreover unpaid internships doesn't require CPT status
