They are perfect. They weren’t just a band playing songs from their past. They brought their past into the visuals into the theatrics into the music and the costuming fall out boy has been my favorite band my entire life and they will be my favorite band for my entire life because of these things.
i couldn’t get over how good they were last night. i’ve never seen them before because i stopped listening to them after their sophomore album. but holy shit they put on a hell of a show. and whoever their set designer is needs a raise
Was the crowd really that dead or was it an issue with the audio? Saw them for the first time ever in March during 2ourdust and you could definitely tell where the OG fans were 'cause it was loud AF. The stage design for this looks better though since the scenes and Patrick's outfits actually represent each album.
i was there on the barricade and i promise, everyone was going HAM screaming their lungs out to every single song, but its just THAT loud, voices get drowned out. even in my own recordings of the night, where i know i was singing at the top of my lungs, a lot of it didn’t pick up. on tiktok, some ppl posted some clips taken from their hotel balcony and you can hear the crowd singing every word.
crowd was going wild!! but i was in the ADA section and not surrounded by a large part of the crowd - plus the speakers were so loud that you couldn’t really hear the crowd over the performance in the audio! but we had a blast!!
I did kinda noticed he seemed ever-so-slightly like he was champing through it a bit. I won’t put him on blast with all the details I noticed, but to me, it seemed like he was hot. He splashed water on his face one time during day 1, so that was my first guess. He is from Chicago, and we were all in Nevada, so… I can imagine the temp doesn’t agree with him lol.
It's probably just Patrick not being used to the weather. Haven't been to Vegas in two years, but it's usually not as hot in October. Since it's in the middle of the desert, the worst time to go is July and August 'cause it easily gets over 100 degrees. Major holidays/events are bad too since traffic on Vegas Blvd (a.k.a. "The Strip" a.k.a. where most of the casinos are) is gonna be blocked during the F1 race next month and on New Year's. You also have all the conventions in January (CES, Shot Show, etc).
