It's sad that people are shaming fans for liking this album. Sure the band has changed, but can someone really stay the same for more than ten years, let alone a group with individuals who's lives have been changing. Grow up, being a true fan has nothing to do with the amount of years you've been listening to the band, but how much you love and respect the talent and effort put into writing these songs.

All I'm saying is if they make a music video this is how it should go: The kid in the album cover (with no face paint) starts in the hotel in the morning (the band is playing on the roof of the same hotel). throughout the video he passes by NYC landmarks (Times square, statue of liberty, central park, brooklyn bridge, with one member at each landmark playing) with each landmark he gets a clue telling him where to go next in riddle form. With each landmark he reaches, the face paint is on his face more and more and it gets later in the day. by the time the song gets to "hold oooooooonnnn" towards the end, he reaches Ground Zero. When he gets there there is a package and a staff attached to it. he opoens the package. its a blackout version of the american flag. He starts waving it high and proud. The band is seen behind him playing on the sidewalk of ground zero. The screen snaps to black right before the final vocals (kind of like the end of viva la vida) it shows each member (first joe, then pete, then andy, last is patrick) with the facepaint on. then it ends with the title card "American Beauty/American Psycho" THE END

This is definitely my favorite song on the record. It gives me goosebumps in an eerie way. And, it sounds the "most like Fall Out Boy" out of all the songs, in my opinion. The only thing I have to say is that the "ohhs" remind me of Let's Kill Tonight by Panic! and also the breakdown/groove/production is almost identical to Miss Jackson! It's not a bad thing, though. But, that aside... This song has succeeded at being stuck in my head.

This is the perfect song to end the album on. It starts with such a bang, guitars blaring and drums pounding. Then, it tones down and releases ominous moans that leave a sense of the end of never being the end, that this is just the beginning of something more to come, which is exactly what Fall Out Boy does. They change their style and their sound, always with the promise of something that will never die. The promise that music will never die. That believers will never die.
