I love how your porch came out. Great ideas I would like to get a home where I have a full porch as well. I just have a walkway that you come up to, I still have some space to where I can at least do like a topiary. your video gave me ideas where I can still make my front walk way look nice

Aww I love that wreath . Ours is small too . We have actually a side door since our front is our garage . We have a corner lot in a cul-de-sac. So wish I had the porch I had growing up

That does sound a bit tricky to figure out, but I wonder if they make a wreath big enough (or you could make one with a pool noodle) that would fit on your garage!

Hi Meagan, I had a thought that might allow you to have more space for matching plants on either side of your front door. You could run some blocks along the sides of your porch (just wide enough for matching plants/small trees) it was just a thought.😀

Love it! Looks wonderful, as always. I made that topiary a few years ago and put a strand of white lights around it so it can be seen at night, too. I didn't know if that would interest you, so I thought I'd mention it. 😊

Do it! I might make another one with a larger tomato cage for that side planter. And then I can swap them out as ghosts for Halloween & Christmas Trees for Christmas 🎄

Totally into the non-symmetrical look! Also, a note on your doormat....we love the cutesy ones, but love the ones that actually scrape the dirt of the bottoms of your feet more!!

Turned out so pretty! Have you considered doing large pavers in place of the mulch where you extend your patio with the seating furniture to make it feel “connected” to the stairs/step area?

No, we haven’t wanted to do anything temporary in that space. We have considered adding on a porch whenever it makes sense in the budget

Have you ever thought about using stacked concrete blocks on the side where you'd put a matching topiary? Do just enough width to set the pot with the topiary on. You could paint your porch step and blocks so they would blend in.
