My dear I am about to turn 69 & I am thrilled to dress my body type because I am short (5'2") I start by browsing the net. I go to the sites that are aimed at young but the always have some great basics like tee shirts in current colors. Also I'm on a tight budget still my sisters & friends always tell me I look great. Fashion is my hobby & taking the time to browse the net really lets you know whats is available without going out in person & getting disappointed. Remember if U can remember the current trend of retro looks U probably should skip it this time around. So, shop happy
Angie, I am 27 but love your look books! I find that many women my age dress in a very casual and sloppy manner. I'm on a quest to transform my wardrobe into a cohesive collection of stylish and "mature" looking clothes, and your selections are great inspiration!
So grateful to you for putting this Look Book together. I am losing eight and am finding that my wardrobe is in transition so I need some ideas to put outfits together ano not just buy random pieces. You have a great sense of style and you look great as always!

Angie - you always look fantastic in your jeans! AG JEANS are so worth it and a must for women with muscular thighs but no hips. They have just enough stretch to get over your thighs, but they will not bag out. The trick to proper sizing is to barely be able to slip 2 fingers down the front while they are buttoned and zipped. If there's extra space then you should see if you can wear a size down; if it's difficult to get your fingers in then size up. I have muscular thighs and calves (called S shaped legs by seamstresses) and AG always has a flare jean available.
Thanks for the tip. I have the same type of thighs and calves and the skinny jean style is often an epic fail on my body. Plan to check out these jeans!
You do the best look books! I thoroughly enjoyed this one as much as I have enjoyed the others. As far as short skirts, you have the legs for it so I am glad you keep wearing what gives you joy, short or long. Great inspiration!

Thanks for your tips on the trends. It's great that you translate them to the best way for us mature women to wear them. Your enthusiasm is infectious. I am holding off o the embroidered clothes look for now. I am old enough to remember the 70s and they are a little too "prairie- look" redux for me.

I think I may buy a pair of inexpensive ones because they may be a trend that doesn't stay in style. I invest in classic jeans that are always in style.......but I try to spend less on trends. I love the lace up trend!
Wow! That was just insanely stylish! These black pants and grey shirt! You literally looked like you’d be under 30. Very inspiring! I feel like I could wear pants like that even to school (I’m a teacher). I just stepped out of my comfort zone and got a faux leather skirt. But it looks so good with so many different tops and shoes. I love it. Happy to see such a grear lookbook!

Wow, what a great lookbook. Thanks Angie! I have a pair of AG jeans (the jeggings) and love them, but the low rise means I have to not be retaining any water to wear them! You look so good. I could only hope to look as good as you when I'm in my 50's!

Your style is impeccable and age-appropriate (not too hip nor too ''grandma'')! Elegant, classy and stylish. I'm less than half your age (24), but I take so much inspiration and advice from your channel. I'm fairly young but I live and breathe anti aging, not only on the outside but the inside as well. Anti aging is something everyone should apply to their life, and the younger you start the better! I've only started getting serious about my anti aging the last few months and I wish I started earlier, but better late than never. Luckily I was never much of a sun worshipper in the first place so my skin is in perfect condition. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for everything you have taught me and also inspired me. You are a beautiful woman and it shows that beauty knows no age as long as you take care of yourself! Age is not an excuse to let yourself go, every woman (or man) should aspire to be the best they can be inside and out for their entire lifetime! My grandmother is 87 and absolutely beautiful, she takes care of herself and always has - and it shows. It has inspired me to do the same.

We are almost exactly the same weight and same height, and pretty much the same body type, so when I see your cute clothes and the way you style them, I have a pretty good idea, how they are going to look on me, except I would never think to style my clothes like you do, so I love your ideas. btw.. “Wear what brings you joy.” I like that as well as removing the stigma of dressing old. You have nice, appropriate taste in clothing. However, I do think there are few rules women of our age should follow. We want to look like trendy ladies, not trendy kids. It is just not appealing even if it can pull it off. There is nothing like seeing a women dressed appropriately well-it’s sexy! I’m straight but can appreciate another women’s good taste-it’s refreshing!
I love AG jeans, they look great, are soft and do not stretch. They are worth the $ and sometimes you can get them on sale at Bloomingdales or Anthro. The burgundy dress looks great on you!
Oh Angie I absolutely love your style! We are style sisters, you dress the way I like to dress all the time. AND - I bought the Born boots last year from Nordstrom, same style but top has buckle not the lacing....in the color.....drumroll.....CONGAC!....which was much a departure for me from my black and gray, But I forced myself to do it. Looks great with an all black outfit (short black skirt, sweater and tights; and with all blue denims. I love the richness of the color - it stands on it own. I too love the stacked heel, somewhat western look, and they are very warm, lined in flannel. Keep the CONGAC!
Thanks so much for NOT falling prey to the old fashioned rules invented by jealous women who can't wear (or never did) certain fashion trends. For me change conform to someone else's ideas because I had another birthday is insane. It would be like them telling me what My favorite color should be. Hi 👋 Angie, another great look book . I also have Plantar Fasciitis. Oh my gosh , doesn't it hurt !!! I remember waking up one morning and my first 10 steps i took from leaving my bed found me hobbling like a 95 year old woman . I could not work out what was happening to my feet ! They were so tender . Maybe a video on what helps us suffers of Plantar Fasciitis get through it is called for lol .
