I appreciate your comments more than I can tell you. I have been a single mother most of my life. I raised two children. One person made an enormous difference (and also a WONDERFUL set of paternal grandparents for my son)in our lives-we were blessed. My son grew up to be a master plumber. My daughter is a dentist. I prayed a lot during those years, worked as many hours as I could and did without. I’ve never owned a home, which next to traveling, was my heart’s desire. As I approach 70, I realize have had an opportunity to enjoy some things in recent years. I’m grateful for everything in my life. I am not what I would call a ‘religious’ person, but I do believe in the Father and I cherish the faith I have. Bless you for your words.

It sounds like your children are doing amazing at life. Good for you and for them. That is just an incredible testament to all your love and dedication towards them. I'm so sorry bit I have to say how much I truly enjoyed watching your channel. Your story and advice remind me of my mother that passed away in January of 2020. I agree with you I have found with my things I can give it new life by redecorating it, some people think I’ve went and purchase new items. Sylvia, it’s so true. I actually had a viewer ask me what I did with all my old decor? If I took it all back to the store. She had just watched my last living room redecorate. I took it as a great compliment. The only new things I brought in were the two clocks I had purchased, one with a gift card and the other at my target shop with me. Everything else I had either just moved to a new spot or brought out of my stash. Yes! I love what you said. The being different is so key. He made us all individual. Perfect share. Thank you. I always use plate stands, Take the larger darker plate on a stand and then place behind the smaller patterned salad plate on a stand, and then candle stick next to it. Then tuck some greenery between.

So fun. Thank you for taking us along. Love your words from the Lord. I love the set up idea and you asking. Wonderful videos and Jesus sayings. Spending money you must think for the future. Put aside money. Get good health insurance. We are older now and have done this plan. We live nicely. I have stage 4 spinal cancer. Chemo is 13,000 a month Then wheelchair and so on. We have good insurance. All is almost paid for as we go along. Fall is what I have had from the years before and the garden. I love to make things and decorate. So I'm doing nicely. The Lord has helped with all of fall and my illness. I bless the Lord everyday for my health. Your videos have helped me because I can't get out. At all. Thank You , Dear. Judith

My husband has worked hard and been wise with our money. Thankfully we are debt free and I am grateful for the life we have/live as well. I am so sorry to hear about your cancer. Hi... You are such a joy and I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I will become a subscriber. Your life choices mimicked my families. We also chose a similar path as you and too have often said to young couples( including my own daughter) do not compare your life or home to others as we are on our own journeys and must choose what is best for us. I remind them to live within their means and find joy in the simple things. We are retired now and can enjoy buying those items we could not purchase before but with so many great places to buy inexpensively now a young family could celebrate the seasons on a tight budget. I can never pick my favorite you tube you made. Every time I think ...that's my favorite. I'll watch it 300 times and see if I can do something similar. I sure hope these wonderful stores appreciate your showing us how to put things together. I always knew you can use a mirror...but a framed one. Haha. Going back to hobby lobby tommorow. I got a little distracted by the skittles and chocolates. But quickly got myself together. I loved that placement that looked like it can hold chopsticks possibly. I think it was first setting you did. My favorite utensil. Maybe someday if you get bored maybe you can show some oriental inspired holiday or regular day. I have bamboo vintage I refuse to get rid of. I just add hopefully, that green pumpkin, or the gold clear from big lots. I'm watching. I think its so refreshing and everything your saying is soaking in. I hope your as happy as we are. You make it look easy, and I'm thankful you do. Happy labor day!

You have such impeccable taste. The 1st mirror was beyond gorgeous. I never really figured out about those lumpy pumpkins until you displayed them, how cute they are. But I loved those colors and now that I see how you use those pumpkins I'm off to hobby lobby to get a few. I'm going to see if they have that mirror too Because it was quite beautiful. I have A lot of fall stuff So I only want a few things. but I am dreaming of those beautiful pumpkin plates But I'm going to buy half of what I want And then place them every other setting Because I just can't afford them otherwise. Your tablescapes were beautiful along with your words of wisdom fromGod !! One of my favorite parts of ALL your vidos!! You choose some many pretty decor pieces today! My favorites were the longer mirror and the filagree pumpkins. There isn't a Hobby Lobby in my town so I hope these pieces are still available the next time I am there. I have been looking for a mirror for the dining room for over a year. I was at Hobby Lobby Wednesday but didn't see this one, I may of missed it though. OMG. Deena I love this video this is my first time on your channel. I have started looking at my decorations and seeing them in different light. Thank you for sharing your decor knowledge an wisdom. I need to get some greenery pumpkins and incorporate what I have. Less to store and I love the muted colors. My fall use to be brights yellow, orange and more kid like fall. Now I just love muted warm tones and I decorate with teal, brown, an cream. I can not express enough how much this video helped me. I hope its ok to go to your back log of videos and catch up. Deena while in Florida my husband pulled in to a Hobby lobby for me to buy the long mirror you used in this video. I want to paint it black like you mentioned but I'm nervous about it. So I think I'll live with the color for awhile. It was on sale for 50%!!!😍

Bonjour, bonjour, Deena : Hope this note finds you in good health and spirit. First, I must address those words that you ended your video with : I find it so nice that you added those and took a minute to remind all of us that what our " needs " must comes first and the " I want " part can wait. Of course we are all bombarded with advertisement, we all like to change things up and, in some cases, to follow the - trend - ! So many beautiful things that is tempted us all the time. You gave us great ideas in this video, suggesting that sometimes just " a little something " new can have a huge impact and we dont have to break the bank. This is what I tend to do, using what I already have and - perhaps - I'll add this little extra and voilà, I have a new look, a refreshed look and I am happy. That being said, you did great in this video, the mirror is fantastic for sure - oh lala ! See you soon, take and still be safe out there !
