Save the moon!!! I would put a command hook o n the back of the moon and hang it up and find something else to do with the other piece. IT is always nice to have the phases of the moon somewhere in your world!! 🙂 Love all the DIY's!
Do not use the circle...paint the back of the moon white . Glaze of your choice( glow in dark? - glitter?) Hang it high on your bedroom wall. Add removable star wall stickers around it..VERY CALMING TO LOOK AT WHEN FALLING TO SLEEP..p.s. this was the BEST FLIP ever plus 🧡 the orange shirt Fall vibe!
Hello Jamie you found some great stuff i absolutely loved the medal tree branches and bird nest bowl but now you reallly did a great job on the coffee table it looks amazing
I really like all of the pieces. A thought for the globe... You could print copies, to size, of the continent's. Trace them lightly on the globe. Then, outline then with an antique brass, ultra fine, marker. Just the outer edges of the continent's. Don't define the countries themselves. I think it would be simplistic and elegant.😊 For the Moon, use the dish as a base and glue the moon on it. Then, do a variation of the Halloween moon and cat sitting on bottom curve with a Spider dangling from the top curve. I would use the back of the Moon and save the phases side for a different DIY.❤
The moon and circle thingy: Think I'd make some kind of Halloween yellow/orangey moon (kinda blended together). Maybe the shadow of tree limbs at the bottom. A moon with a witch (wood cut out witch) flying across for the circle thingy. The chip and dip set would be good, too -- just make it food safe for the chips! DT has some really pretty bowls to hold the dip.Thanks for all your inspiration. Your coffee table turned out super!!!
The moon and circle, could be used for a chips and dip. It's really cute. Love how you did the bird nest and twig stand. Really looks good. The table I love how you redid it. If you were to cut the moon in half, use glue those together to hel this stand. Seat up to be a nightmare before Christmas decorations. Paint circle yellow moon texture. Glue to your hill. Use wire or pipe cleaner as curl at the end of the hill and the figure in the moon. Use light on the back of the moon.
Love the coffee table! Also love the plaid shirts and the Lavender and pink shirt. My son also wears a 2x but he will not wear long sleeves for any reason no matter how cold it gets. That may have something to do with Asbergers. There is a CHKD thrift store in Newport News, Virginia, on Warwick BLVD. close to Denbeigh. Every Tuesday everything in the store is 25% off. I enjoyed going there. Now I don't live in the state anymore so don't have access to that store. Now live in a small town and have found other thrift stores within walking distance. I live about a couple of blocks from the downtown area where most of them are located. There is a shop that supports local artists, no mater the type of art and can be any medium. During the summer months, there is something called an "Art Walk". From 6th street to the big "Leg Lamp" where this street ends just past 1st. There are musicians, artists, foods, and a party atmosphere. This happens about once or twice a month. There is supposed to be a big art bash sometime in September or October. This is a good place to be an artist and/or crafter no matter the medium! I'm lovin' this small town in Oklahoma! Thank you for Sharing your finds. I always find it fun and interesting. :)
Loved your leaf & nest candle stand. As for the moon: Turn both pieces over, paint the moon piece a mustardy yellow and paint a profile on it of the man in the moon. Leave the round piece black and add cat ears (from a headband with ears on it) and paint a cat face on it, glue the cat face to the bottom part of the moon... perfect for Halloween!
Nice finds and I love how you upcycled and repurposed them to match your decor. I love thrift shopping, it’s a great way to update your home in a frugal manner. You could use that moon as a standing decor piece by inserting a dowel to the moon and the bowl could be the stand base.
great finds! As for the moon dish with the circle in it, I think it's intended for a vanity where you would place your makeup on the moon and your rings in the circle. It could also be used in a bathroom I'm thinking for a place to put your rings when washing up and use the moon for a soap dispenser and toothbrush dispense etc. (skin care too?). I also like the idea of using it as wall art but how you would change it up is not something I can think of! I know you'll figure something out!
I also buy my son's shirts from Goodwill if I can find them. He wears 3x. he has a fistula for his forearm for dialysis so he wears long sleeve shirts because he is self conscious about his arm. Anyway I liked the bowl and nest best, I would leave the bowl and chip set as is.
Not sure what to tell you on the moon beside maybe paint it. I wouldn’t use the circle with it just use it as a little trinket tray. I love how the table turned out. It looks really nice in your living room.

Love all these projects. The phases of the moon thing is awesome, and I hope you don't decide to paint over it. I like the idea of using the circle for a pillar candle and maybe putting some pretty stones or tealights in the main piece, or just leave it empty to enjoy the moon design.
All great items from thrift store . Really liked the leaf bowl holder and how you painted it. Love the bird nest bowl. They are perfect together. Enjoyed all you finds and recreate items.
The kidney table looks great! I would leave the moon plate alone and just hang it up, just in time for Halloween, but neat looking any time. The circular dish either do a picture of Otis or do a mini man in the moon in the center.
I would put crystals in the dip portion or a candle. I'm so glad that you are not painting it. I love the phases of the moon motif. :) :) Beautiful stain on your kidney table.

I love every one of your decor finds! My favorite flip, besides the obvious gorgeous coffee table, was the branch and nest candle holder. I collect globes so they always catch my eye, but I look for the vintage ones. Like some of the other commenters, I also would use the cool moon phase tray as wall decor.

Adore the table!!!😮😮😮 and the bird nest is my favorite! I would use the moon as a chip plate and put dip on the round piece. Wouldn't change it at all! Great finds!
The circle and moon could be used similarly to a charcuterie board. Mayo & mustard in the circle, and meats and cheeses on the moon. Good for a small get- together.
