As Lake Lanier Transitions into fall, the water temps have come down into the low-mid 70’s. This means that the fish are definitely on the move and they are in a feeding frenzy chomping on small shad and herring. You can catch the spotted bass on swim-baits, topwater, drop-shot, crank baits, you name it. In this video, our target area of focus was long points with quick drop offs nearby and main lake humps where fish are schooling in the 10-25 feet of water.
We used the Sebile Magic Swimmer in the 125 size (5 inch) in both GreenBack Ghost and White Liner colors.

Nice vid!! Yes I’ve been running into some stripers lately mixed in the schooling action with spots. They really know how to rip the drag and it is a blast!

Excellent video. What type of baitcast rod do you use with your Lew's reel?

Steve Burnett i have a bass pro shops carbon lite 2.0 rod and love it. Super light and easy to work all different types of baits with. Also it’s only about $100 so not super expensive. Thanks.
