I'm in my second trimester with my second baby and I love these update videos from you because I relate so much. I also went through my first pregnancy during the beginning of the pandemic AND had hyperemesis and it was truly such a life-changing experience in the hardest way. Excited to be able to do all the normal pregnancy things this time around! And yes Costco saves us a ton of money if we're smart about it - I shop like I do at a regular grocery store - just the outer edges to get the organic/grass fed proteins, veggies, and whatever bulk pantry items we need. My ob told me that the guy picks the gender but the timing of the egg and the sperm meeting also has to do with the gender too. Like ovulation right on target boy . Ovulation a couple days later girl ..

You can 100% change your mind about epidural. It is given as long as mom can stay completely still for it regardless of how far long she is in labor (of course not when baby is already coming out).

Did you try hydrogen peroxide for the pasta stain? It works on blood. If that fails I use Oxi stain remover and add some Dawn platinum to the wash.

Two natural births in a hospital - stay out of the hospital as long as possible and labor at home! Fear of possible side effects or permanent back pain is what keeps me Motivated tbh

Hi Sam ! Thank you for your video ☺️. Have you and Jarod concidered to go shop at Costco ? I go there since I’m a mom of two and they have planty of good organic and grassfed stuff. They have cool stuff for snacks and cool healthy lunch. Also, there is one close to FL and across the street there is a Wholefood.

The pregnant/new mom during covid was SO tough. I had my first in January 2020 and the way there were no groups. Mom Meetings. Nothing! I couldn’t even go push the stroller at the mall once flu season was done. it’s definitely something that makes me so sad to think about how alone I was that whole year pretty much!

Okay can we talk about Vivi’s hair like seriously it’s freaking gorgeous!! I have to pay money to get mine to try and look like that lol!!

First baby I had an epidural, second I wanted to go natural. Just had my second in the hospital with no epidural & it was AMAZING. Recovery was so much easier!

Also!!! Reading the mama natural birth I feel like really helped me be able to not get the epidural twice!!! Also having short labors helped haha

I have 1 boy 1 girl my son challenges me more than my daughter as far as listening he definitely has way more energy too. I agree with shopping around for Whole Foods & clean ingredients. Costco does have some great items & Kroger has a lot of great options too. Look for a local Co-op too. I found that going to the different stores & checking out the organic selection is the best way to figure out which Merchant's have the best produce for me it is Kroger. You’ll be able to tell how often the produce get rotated through by how fresh is. Just my personal experience 🥰

This may be too personal, so don’t feel obligated to answer. But, how and when did you guys know you definitely wanted a second? Was there ever a time that you weren’t on the same page with that or some other major life change? If so, how did you work it out? I’m asking because I would love more kids but my husband is not on board because of the cost of daycare. It would mean we wouldn’t be as “cushy” for a year, but we could absolutely swing the cost. It’s so hard. Any advice?

Do you find that you are having more anxiety about giving birth to your second child than your first because you know more now? That’s how I’m feeling after having my first baby! Things that didn’t scare me or I didn’t think about the first time around totally freak me out now.

Aldi has so many great organic food, and it’s super affordable. You just have to find a good one, not all the Aldi’s are the best. I have a fam of 4 too and tried Costco but their meat is not the best in my opinion. But definitely try Aldi, Bobby Flay has a lot of recommendations and swaps on what to get there 😊

Shopping at multiple stores definitely helps with cost, but then you’re also going to like 4 stores every week lol! 😂

Sam, you barely spend on useless things. Youre not crazy for brand names either.. i think it is ok to spend a lot on grocery. Especially since you eat great and organic. Its better to spend 1000$ a month of whole foods than on junk. Dont feel bad.

So funny I have twin boy girl and wow I think (and all my friends) that girls are soooo much harder!!! When people have twin girls I’m like ARE YOU OK!!?? Funny peoples different opinions I think obv it depends on the actual kid! My boy is so gentle sweet sensitive loving he always wants to cuddle me and my girl is a savage and she will hug me but only on her terms 😛😛
