Sarai! You’re a new mom. Don’t overthink it. Upload what you want, when you want. Ease yourself into it. As fellow mom of two that went to college, worked and brought them to work. (I still do sometimes and it’s a totally different job) lol YOU can do it. You get through it and look back and wonder how you did it but somehow we just do. Again don’t stress!!! It’ll all work out 🤍🤍

My best advice for a stay at home mom is bring him in any room you’re in until he’s ready to be on his own a little more. So like bring the play mat with you in your make up room or bring it in the office. Don’t be afraid to try different things so you can start to form a schedule that works best for you and Crew.

Hey girl! I'm at stay at home working mom, and honestly you learn to adapt. I get so much done in the 20 minutes that my baby naps. Honestly, the challenges change as they get bigger, I have a 10 month old who is on the move so she doesn't need to be held all the time, but now I have to consistently look out for her. I have a decent sized play yard for her but she has started to become clingy and doesn't want to be in it alone. Truthfully don't overthink it because each day will literally be different. Hang in there mama, you'll figure it out!

You’re a great mom cuz you try to be. We love you bc you are yourself and now you’re a mom who is obsessed with her baby. Personally I want to see you with him talking about your experience bc I know how encompassing it can be.

Heey queen I used to be a nanny and for the littlest one when I’d put her in the jumper/stander/whatever people call it, I’d roll up a towel or little blanket and shape it like a neck pillow, and that helps a lot with the babies neck and to get him to strengthen it❤️💙

When my son was little, 33 years ago lol he loved his swing so it was easy to do what I needed to do when he was in it. And of course a play pen too.I actually was a manager of a tuxedo shop and took him to work with me because I had a huge back office so his swing, playpen and everything stayed there. It worked I don’t know how but it did so it will work for you and you will figure it out and be fine because your a great mom.❤

Don’t stress yourself he is still little. Once he has more head control and can be more hands on with toys he will distract himself 🫶🏼 and you can get more work done. As he plays 🩷 i recommend the vibrating hedgehog toy from Target to maybe help with longer naps. You’re doing great 🩷 and Crew is the cutest! 🥰

I used to be a nanny for stay at home parents. I would work maybe four hour shifts for example 9 to 1 or 1 to 5. The parents would be home the entire time they would come out and spend 5/10mins with us at least once an hour. Also they made time to have lunch as well! I really liked it because if I needed anything they would right away come out and help. Occasionally I would sit in the office with Mom as she got work done and me and the baby would play or read a book. Loved it because they were still involved during his day and getting work done. One of my favorite memories is when it was nap time, they would come in and kiss him and say “have a good nap buddy” before I put him in the crib and they would be there when he woke up to say hello to him as well. I had some families who had cameras and others who didn’t but you can definitely do it in any way that makes you feel comfortable even if maybe it’s like a cousin in your family that’s helping you out but just an idea a lot of people were surprised that I was comfortable with the parents being home but if anything, it’s the best thing it feels like you’re part of the family! Nevertheless you’re doing awesome, motherhood is hard, and you will figure out how balance it. Just takes time to adjust! ❤

My son didn’t get into a solid nap routine until he was 6 months old. I don’t wfh but I hope the “he doesn’t sleep” phase that I went through ends for you soon! 💕 You got this.

When my daughter was home this summer and I was working from home honestly it was really hard. She is a lot older than Crew (she’s 7) but I start working around 5 am and got a good 3-4 hrs of work done before she got up and took small breaks with her (to make food, get her ready, set stuff up for her to do etc.) until time to get off (around 1/2) and she really just had to be independent/entertain herself. It’s hard but once you get your routine down you’ll be great!! Maybe you can have a babysitter for 2/3 hrs a couple days a week!

I did a lot during her nap times showering, cleaning etc. when she was up I would use my baby carrier but if your getting anxious maybe slow down a little… give yourself time to plan and time for a mental recharge. Us as moms are always on the go but we have to relax for both us and our family… it took me a long time to understand that

Making a playroom where you are the most is the best thing to get things done. For example, I am usually in the living room and kitchen area and I set up my daughters playroom there. I hid her toys in the TV console and some things are just part of the decor now. haha. If you put the playroom in the front of the home, will you be close by to watch him. Also, the first 6 months are the hardest to work. You work whenever you can! Naptime or after he sleeps. I finished my masters by doing that and I did a lot of late nights (after baby went to sleep). You also have your family! Utilize them to get important work stuff done. You got this. Crew will keep changing and you will change as he does. Work with what is best for you and your family.

Girl what helped me is a swing! Get a baby swing and film with him right there! My daughter for 2 week after birth did not sleep but as soon as I got her a swing she was sleeping good! It will definitely give baby boy longer sleep time!

Youre doing amazing! Dont worry. Im not a mom, but i think Crew is lucky to have both you and Jalen. Youll get into the rhythm, so just take it one day at a time. Blessings 😊

You can always get one of the camera lights to make lighting in the even better and you can also always get one of the back carriers so you can put him on your back so the camera isn’t always in his face but you can still video with him around.

I’m not a mom but I just want you to feel reassured that it will all work out. I can understand why it feels overwhelming and why you’d feel anxious because it’s your job but I’d like to hope that we are all here to support you and the last thing we’d want is for you to feel like you aren’t doing good enough. Take it day by day and just try not to worry about things that you don’t have control over. Definitely an anxious girly over here so it’s way easier said than done but you got this mama you are amazing and I love all your content regardless of what it is that you are filming. ❤

I had a lot of help with my family because I lived with them. All my siblings cared for my kids ❤ so whenever my babies were fussy then they would passed them to one another

Girl! I have almost a 6 month old now, and she has been taking 4 naps (1 hr and 1/2 long) each and slept 8 hrs+ through the night since she was 9 weeks! I used the book called Babywise, and Girl!! It's such a gamechanger😭 that book literally helped me take my baby from taking little catnaps to napping consistently throughout the day! That way you can work, film content, clean..etc during Crews naps! I highly recommend that book💕 hope this helps💙

Yes, the Home Goods around me mostly have Halloween. Last year they had a lot more fall stuff ☹️

Here’s a few things I did when I was at home I wasn’t working but I still have to clean and cook the first thing I recommend is a baby swing that plays music and swings on it’s own sleep when the baby sleeps remember you need to rest too and eat good to make good milk supply remember your body just carried a baby for 9 months you are beautiful don’t push it your baby will not be little for ever work will always be there I would put my baby in the swing and get stuff done you got this you will have a new routine when bf goes to work you will be fine ❤

You will figure these ebs and flows out! I think trying different things until you find a groove/ask your village for their hands where you can!

You can always get a babysitter 2 days a week and do your work on those two days Or however many days u need from like 9-4 etc

you should make the makeup room a play room because you could just get a vanity in your room for makeup that way you still have a room for your guest

My husband works 3 shifts, each week different and everyday 8h from mon-fri, and I have a 6months old baby also pregnant with the second, tummy time is everything for my little one, she loves it! I can basically do anything for an hour without her being bored or just crying, I don't have to be with her 24/7, I personally think that babies need a little time alone too so they know how to keep themselves busy with different toys. Also we have a 3in1 bassinet that has like songs which she also loves so I just try to keep her busy, but of course I am playing with her so much during the day but when I have stuff to do, I have to do it and that's it😅 hope you can find some toys or activity for Crew so he can give you some free time😊❤

I work 40 hour weeks full time from home for a company and I've had my son home with me since he was born and he's going to be two soon...I honestly do not know how I do it lol! It is hard but worth it. You just have to give yourself patience and not all days are good days

its literally impossible to do it all we are not meant to do everything. if you’re financially able to get some help at home go for it!! even if its a couple days a week . i have my mother in law a few days a week helping me and it makes it so much better.

honestly you may have to ask for help from your parents to get work done, honestly idk how other moms who work get things done 😅 because for me i wouldnt be able to do anything without help, especially NOW hes 1 years old and he is SUPER active and wants attention 24/7, only time i have time for myself is his 2 naps and when he sleeps 😭 my son was the exact same way with him when he was younger, terrible sleeper, he actually technically slept better than he did when he was 5+ months and now, but yes, miss rachel saved us at keeping him occupied for a good few minutes just getting things done, but naps will get better i would look into wake windows, adjusting accordingly babies that age tend to get overstimulated but also dont get stimulated anymore, so finding that right wake window is really hard

Hey girl, I totally feel you about not being able to get stuff done during the day. I work a 9-5 corporate wfh job and it’s HARD. Thankfully she can play independently for a while since she’s 10 months old now and I can definitely say the early days we’re so much easier. I went back to work when she was 7 weeks old. Crew is probably going through the 4 month regression. And it should get better. I can’t tell you how to get through it because I barely get through it myself. I’m still nursing and we do contact naps so that allows me to get uninterrupted time to work. I also sometimes have to work after she goes to bed. Something is always slacking, whether it’s my job, housework, or self care. I’m with you 🤍

I feel like you gotta go at the end of august early September and they have a ton of fall stuff. So maybe next year try to go earlier!

Oh girl.. I fostered my newborn niece in 2020 for a year while I was working from home full time and I just stuck her in her moby carrier so she was on me constantly and I got a stand up desk. Then she got a little older and she would just chill and play next to me. It's tough!

You have to plan your own routine as a single MOM! Include work & homelife separately. That’s the best advice. I work while my kids are in school.. at home. So they have my full attention. As a baby it’s easier to get a lot done bc they sleep alot. I have a 7-9 year old! They keep my going. But night routing - morning & a daily task to do is goal

My friend that worked from home she had a mother helper with us just a babysitter while you are there too 🤷🏻‍♀️ something you could look into maybe 😊

Sarai, I know youtube is very woven into your life... however, this is your job and you can totally take maternity leave! If you need to take a month or two to be with your child it is okay if that takes priority. All of your thoughts are completely reasonable and make so much sense. You are a full time mom working from home. That is A LOT!! be gentle with yourself. Take care of yourself and family. We will always be here.

“ How do I do it?” lol I have no clue. My daughter will be 6 months on Saturday. Both my husband and I wfh but he works in the basement and can’t help much due to his job so I have to juggle the baby through meetings, emails, etc and it’s ALOT! Not sure how I do it. Honestly my daughter sleeps so much better on me so we do contact naps which last anywhere from 1-2 hours and that’s how I can get work done. I try to write all my emails during that time because when she wakes up it’s so tough. I also have 2 other kids but they are much older. It’s so stressful but it doesn’t last long is what I remind myself so I try to soak it all up.

Hey Sarai, I know exactly how you feel. I had my baby on 7/16 and my husband has been home with me. We also have two other school aged children. My husband went back to work last week and even though he only works 2 days a week (24 hour shifts) I feel like on the days he’s gone I get nothing done. It’s so hard. I struggle to turn the other cheek and not worry about the laundry and cleaning when he’s gone.

Highly recommend taking cara babies. Especially if you’re able to be at home.

when i go to thrift store for onesies i make sure they are always under $2.50, and most of the time they are !
