As far as a suede bag goes…I would opt for a bag in a classic tote shape because it’s a classic! The slouchier style will be out of style whereas the tote shape will still be on style even when suede isn’t on trend! Just my advice!
I am 62 and have a lot of shopping experience. Mango bag is great and 50 Euros is fantastic price point. Suade is very easy to get dirty and very difficult to clean so I would not invest too much money. Good luck!
Beautiful picks! I would try second hand first for some of these items. You might be able to snag a suede jacket, and there are so many scarves at thrift stores. I would go with a darker suede for a bag because suede is delicate in the sense that it’s difficult to clean and lighter colors will get dirty/stained easily. I bought a pair of black patent leather loafers and they go with everything (and are easy to clean!), but burgundy is also super versatile. That studded jacket is gorgeous though, and the leopard print vest is so fun! Cow hide is definitely having a moment too…pumped to see what you buy! :)
Suede's beauty is when it stands on it's own. When I think of brown suede jacket I am thinking Whitney Houston on "Im your baby tonight" - brown biker jacket, ribbed jeans, cross earrings. So avant-garde. I was 10 when the video became hit. It is still one of the most amazing cool girl looks that is timeless and so elegant at the same time. Absolutely stunning. I don't like studs on suede it cheapens the look. I like the massimo dutti jacket but not the color. I would buy it if it was mid- brown. My version of Whitney jacket is still not out there. I will keep looking.
I picked up 3 vintage suede jackets. In pristine condition! Exactly what’s in stores. One was $13. One was $15. And the suede trench was $34. Sellers had no idea how cool they were! I found two suede bags on Amazon under $80.
