Fallaldy 

Fallaldy was written in the mid-1960s by the Scottish folk band The Corries, using the melody of a popular military march called The Cock o’ the North, written in the early 1800s. The name of that bagpipe tune comes from the nickname of Alexander Gordon, 4th Duke of Gordon, who in 1794 raised the 92nd Regiment of Foot, which later became known the Gordon Highlanders. Using the same melody is a naughty playground ditty sung by children called Auntie Mary, from which Fallaldy takes its fourth verse and part of the chorus.
As a humorous aside, the Piper to the Sovereign is a position within the British royal household. Scott Methven held this position from 2015-19. One of his duties was to play the bagpipes for exactly 15 minutes at precisely 9am while Queen Elizabeth II had her breakfast, wherever the Queen was in residence, whether at Balmoral Castle or at Buckingham Palace.
One afternoon the Queen asked him what was the second or third song he had played that morning. He couldn’t remember which song he has played (it was Cock o’ the North), as he has a repertoire of approximately 700 songs. So the queen began to sing, “Auntie Mary had a canary….” He began to continue the lyrics with “up the leg o’ her drawers!”, but the Queen laughed and shouted, “No, no, no! We mustn’t, it wouldn’t be proper!”, meanwhile smiling like the proverbial cat that ate the canary. Obviously the Queen had learned the bawdy little ditty on the playground at school, just like every other British child!
