Watching this in 2024. I can't believe how good the story actually is. 😢 I really miss the simpler times when you could truly enjoy and appreciate Minecraft.

I think it's interesting to see that after Fallen Kingdom, it was supposed to be that the Son was the main character, but that was switched back to the King in Dragonhearted.

I do not cry. I usually can’t. But these four songs regularly bring me to tears. Fallen Kingdom: Nostalgic, Poignant, Tragic Take Back the Night: Determined, Gritty, Brutal Find the Pieces: Hopeful, Uplifting, Moving Dragonhearted: Bombastic, Grand, Apocalyptic These four songs are responsible for most of my tears.

This could have been avoided if someone did not hit the pigman.

People have said that captain sparklez predicted the nether update. In reality, he also predicted the entire premise of minecraft legends as well.

First seeing this as a kid in the golden times of minecraft and my childhood. Later in 2020-2021 I was bathing in the nostalgic memories while starting slowly to realize that the golden time is ending and the colorful world is losing its brightness. Now I'll turn 18 in a month, the only emotion I felt while rewatching was pure, deep sadness. And regardless I wasn't able to cry, not one single tear ran down my cheek in the end.... There is only one thing worse than losing the good old times; it's losing the memories as well, it's forgetting...

After being a veteran since 2011 and remembering when the game updated to feature horses in 1.6.1, I remembering building my first castle, managing the villagers that didn't do anything, and making stories in my head to roleplay along. Now, as an adult, I've decided to revisit a childlike wonder of mine, a game that was truly a sandbox, and make a modpack that was everything I've ever wanted in a themed game. Looking back on all the things I had enjoyed as a veteran, and being disappointed with the lack of new content put out lately, I wanted to create something that was truly for me with time and passion put into it, and was respectful towards the vanilla players while creating an immersive experience full of new surprises, lore, and a loose story laid out for everyone to enjoy. And after six months of building, tweaking, optimizing, and rewriting this modpack like a part time job, I've finally passed a stable BETA3 with 240+ mods, 12 lightweight resource packs, and its playable with ultra shaders. Now, would any minecraft cinematic creators know how they created this video? From rambling my brain a bit, I figure this looks to be camera movement over a created set in vanilla mc with a texture pack then animated in post. Also, please comment if you want to know more about the pack

At some point the songs stopped being about minecraft, and im perfectly okay with this

2012: It's a nice song, i like the melody but i can understand the message 2019:It's beatiful and nostalgic, i can understand it.

Still gets me emotional after all this time. I remember every time a new video dropped it felt like Christmas. Thank you to CaptainSparklez and everyone who worked on the series, you made a beautiful piece of my childhood.

If you think about it theres some parallels here with Star Wars. It's a story about a father and son. In the original tetralogy, a lot of the focus was put on the son. He was also raised in a desert village. He finds a wise old villager who helps him become stronger but he dies and the Prince loses his master. The sudden attack on his village and his people is his call to action. It's also told by the prophecy enscribed on that wall that the Prince is actually the chosen one who will stop Herobrine. The King and the Prince finally reunite after many years apart, with the Prince saving his father from his solitude and helping his father find the courage he once had in himself to finally end the threat of evil, but not without the chosen one sacrificing himself to save those he loves. Then theres (hopefully more of) the prequels which will tell the backstory of the King, the father, the rise of his kingdom and the eventual fall.

Literally was listening to the song Pompeii and was like, "Isn't there a minecraft parody?" and now I'm here, going down a long hallway with a trail of nostalgic minecraft songs, including some tears
