This actually is their show, lol. Their and Jim TOMS distillery is the reason they don’t go to jail actually making likker the few times it has happened.
I find it hard to believe neither of these upstanding gents have a warm enough garage or basement to store those barrels for a couple weeks..... Content achieved, I guess.
Should have just built a small green house around the barrels. Put one heat lamp and you would have been set. Could have used tarps for the greenhouse.
I probably could have just had a bunch of those things that you shake up and they get warm and then they could have had like a bunch of thermal blankets honestly they wrapped it in enough thermal blankets that would probably be good enough course I don't know I've never made thousands of dollars selling moonshine
Am I right that this is about $2,000 at point of sale? 10 gallons at about $200/gallon? Split 2 ways between them, minus their time, equipment, fuel, mash and transportation?
It should work without a pump too though slower. They could raise it too & let gravity work its magic. If you have a pump might as well use it. It would be more efficient.
It would be better if they just use the garden hose and a siphon and by Saif and I mean just suck on it a little bit to the liquid starts moving it's a lot easier to clean a garden hose or just buy a new one then it is to clean out a water pump
I think it would be cool to get a distilling license but pretend like you're doing it illegally and when you're selling it to people they're like those are some really good labels considering you made this out in the woods and their Moonlight and you're like yeah I know.... 😎👌
that's exactly what they are doing,,, how do you think there's mark and digger hazelnut rhum and mark and digger apple rye at sugarlands? a tickle one a mark rogers one even a jim tom one a patty one, so yeah they have the license and do the show for the legacy, and not bad i love this show it's the best for me, years i was searching it here in france i just found all seasons i loved it, and i got into making shine 7/8 years ago first time i saw first 4/6 seasons i learned the basics with that and now i make super apple brandy ^^@@GonzoJournalism
You would find out who your friends are. See if anyone tries to turn you in and they get exposed and find out you're really legit. They'd feel like a fool.
They are intelligent and all but wouldn't the smart thing to have done was to insulate the barrels? Work smarter nor harder and all. Old Roof insulation you can get for dirt cheap
Nope. Where's the mud oven? Where's the clean River water? They're using city water that's got all the chemicals in it. Popcorn would turn in his grave.
Popcorn is entertaining but that's really retarded because when you distill water it takes out all the bad stuff that's actually how people make purified water that you buy in the store
@Jesse Ashford You don't know shit about Popcorn. You watched one documentary and didn't even listen to what he said in it. He used those traditional ovens twice, as demonstrations. Other than that he did the exact same thing these guys do.

@@samuelurb2214 how u do understand all these guys aren't doing what it looks like discovery Channel would be in deep shit. They have legal distilleries....
@@ScoobyShotU are you explaining reality TV like America doesn't know? no one thinks its really illegal. I only ever see people like you explaining there's no way its legit like its not common sense. reality shows aren't reality bud, they just pass it off as such.
People don't know about the weather here (I live about 15-20 minutes from there on the worst day) for example this week: wed - 60 and sunny, thurs - 35 and rainy, fri - 65 an sunny, sat - first snow of the year. as my friend put it "our weather is as predictable as a toddlers drawings"
Thats a good saying ima have to steal it for my own vocabulary. Hearing Colorado we have roughly the same bulshit on weather our saying is "if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes" lol
Troll Hidden Cave you will be losing money then they are trying to make more money. To move alcohol from the building they make it in to the aging building is like $300 for every barrel may be more
Leaving a propane tank lit in a old dry old barn with dry brush everywhere isn't probably the smartest thing they have done lol. Obviously nothing happened but all it takes is an animal to knock it over, a heavy wind to do the same or something messing up with tubing and fire get shot up the line and boom lol js.
I live not too far from these 2. Me and my hub love these guys. Maybe we'll head up that way this spring on Vacation and see if we can run into them. They came to my city a year or 2 ago at a liquor store called Muddy Waters but we couldn't make it there that night! I was so disappointed!
