We have to thank Sean Rooney for his work with Ronnie on this and the drug in me is reimagined. He is the composer and pianist that works with Ronnie. Also, fun fact Ronnie created this solely to test his vocal abilities. On his twitch he stated he wanted to show everyone what he could do.
I hope Ronnie reacts to this video because you both gave a beautiful reaction. I can tell Ginger was touched by this song a bit. Ronnie does such an amazing job delivering a emotional storytelling with every word in this song. It's like a rollercoaster. I nearly cried the first time when it reached the end. A very beautifully well done revamp of the original, in my opinion I think this version is better but the original is still a vibe haha. This video is a masterpiece ❤️.
Great reaction! Ronnie is definitely on top of his game right now not only with his vocals, but his videos too. Ronnie has been dropping hints all week on his channel that there might be something else dropping soon. If you think about it, in The Drug in Me is Reimagined, the fangs he had was a hint to I'm Not A Vampire.
The girl in the video is his girlfriend. She is "Paige" from the WWE. It is an incredible song. The video is brilliant👍🏻👍🏻 Wasn't a big fan of both the originals but totally onboard with these. Derek Jones was the rhythm guitarist and long time friend of Ronnie.
I love how u let the video play out, I get goosebumps every time hearing this song. Just nice to let it play out and then we chill out and talk about it. 🙌
🤘🇫🇮 Nightwish Finland Revamped version was made for honoring Guitarist Derek Jones (35) who died just five months after he lost his fianceé (Cetta) to cancer.
"I am deeply in love with this boy!"- goodness do I know that feeling! I am also (almost) old enough to be his mother, but the only other music that makes me feel quite this way is Apocalyptica's music. I've always called their music the soundtrack to my soul. Since finding Ronnie's music last year, I have to say I must have a part 2 to that soundtrack...it's the only way to explain how deeply his music reaches.
Ronnie has re-imagined a new path from his early sessions and now we are seeing his real inner spirit in the form of his music. Really like this and his re-imagined drug songs. I hope he doesn't damage his voice the way he screams it out at times. RIP Derek Jones. Great react as always guys :)
I just love this version of the song so much and have it in heavy rotation since it came out. A masterpiece song and video. The original one wasn‘t my cup of tea (I drink Espresso only btw 😉). A FiR song you should habe a look at is „Popular Monster“ which is heavy stuff (song, lyrics, video). For me his way of expressing the darkest thoughts and emotions is what makes me like it so much. There is a deep understanding on my side.
Such a great song. Video is awesome. And like Ginger, I'm old enough to be his mom, but his darkness speaks to me as well. Been noticing the we seem to have similar taste. Check out Perfect Monster... another great Ronnie song.
Love the reaction :) The ending though, I have to say... "Don't you have a friend named Derek Jones?" "Yeah, he was alive the last time I checked." Made me LOL
wow, never knew Richard Stallman also liked Falling in Reverse xD sorry St. Ignucius, for I have sinned and betrayed the church of emacs, and have committed blasphemy by using the editor of the beast (vim) full-time :(
I just seen that you did it so disregard my 1st post. Please react to Löic Nottet-million eyes the official video its a beautiful moving song and video.
This is just a question since it has happened a couple of times now, when 3 of the 6 reactors I follow at the same day react to the same song I get suspicious.... do you get contacted by other than followers to react to certain songs from time to time? i.e. artists or what would be worse greedy record companies/promotors?
I don't know about anybody else, but this was a suggestion in our comments. No artists or record companies were involved. If I understand correctly, it was newly released. That probably explains why a bunch of people have reacted - it's fun to get in on something new! - M
@@MikeandGinger thanks for the response and yeah, that´s probably it... it kind of happens at least once a month and I was just curious... to bad you did not get paid though ;-)
@@SubwaySweden lol. I’m not sure it would be good if we got paid for reacting, ever. The authenticity is a big deal, and that would be compromised, I think, if there was a quid pro quo. This one came because some of our viewers noted how much I loved the last song of theirs that we saw, and gave me a heads up that this was a new drop, and since I did love it so much, i just HAD to do it 😁 I will say, tho... lots of reactors follow other reactors, and if a song is tracking well, it’s a sign that it may be good. So, sometimes we take inspiration from what other channels are also doing. -G
Wish there were actual reaction's. I know you sit at home and try to make money giving BS reviews for likes and views. Smart people kn0w you've watched it already.
Just because you don’t believe people can be honest, doesn’t make it true. There are plenty of songs on this channel where we openly say from the beginning that we’ve heard it before. We don’t lie about it, because we’re not the kind of people who lie, and sometimes we like to share things we know. You, projecting your negativity on us, won’t change that. Ps…you don’t have to click or like. We won’t miss you.
