Came here to pay my respects to Derek Jones. A few years back, this band touched me deep, combining punk, emo, and symphonic melodies to create masterpieces. I always listened to the Derek's parts, and he is why I am where I am in guitar today. Rest in Peace Derek :(

Still can't believe I was in the crowd when they recorded this, we had to do the song twice because the crowd wasn't hyped enough the first time.

"Due to mistakes, I have made to the state, I am trapped inside a dillinger, diligently thinking of ways to get out of this god awful place" - I fucked up my life, and now I have to fix it. "I have learned that my fate is something I can't escape" - You (Escape the Fate) weren't there for me, and I'm better off without you. "Sound the alarm, what I've said from the start. Is I'll never let your system break me down or tear me apart" - I'll never become so corporate jackass; never conform to society. I will continue doing what I love, and fight against the machine. "This is the end of you; this is where I draw the line. And I won't lose; this war is mine" - You're (Escape the Fate) is going to fall to pieces without me. My band will be 1000 times better then we ever were!
