My favorite comment I’ve ever read from someone who saw past Ronnie for the first time was “why is Ronnie’s voice coming from Joan Jett’s body???” They weren’t wrong😂😂😂😂

It is a band, but Ronnie is the only official member of Falling in Reverse. Before his death, Derek Jones had been with him since the beginning. Ronnie hires out as needed for recording and tours. Right now, for the Rockzilla tour this is the line up: Ronnie Tyler Burgess (back up vocals and bass) Luke Holland (drums) Christian Thompson (guitar) Max Georgiev (guitar and I think he does some backing vocals too)

Earlier they were a true band but after his best friend and bandmember Derek Jones died the members has gone in and out so Ronnie is the only one left from the OG group. He did all writing, music (Reimagined and Revamped, sheet music from and Irish composer that send them his take on DIMIY which Ronnie loved) and arrangements up to Zombified. That and Voices in my head are more "normal" productions exept as far as I know lyrics.

I just found your channel today, and I’m glad when reactors go back and do a lot of there older stuff. I’m a new fan starting with Voices in My Head. I went and back catalogued EVERYTHING, and I was not disappointed. From what I’ve read he wrote this album while incarcerated, tapping beats on his legs so he didn’t disturb anyone. That’s genius level stuff. It’s a band, but he’s the only remote member. Derek Jones (guitarist) passed in 2020. That drummer in the video was Ronnie’s BFF and he quit the band and stole some material. Ronnie was heartbroken, but wrote “F@ck You and All You’re Friends” lol..I saw them Feb 5th 2023 at Rupp Arena in Lexington Ky. To hear the whole audience sing this was like yes!! Even Ronnie was like, okay…surprised him a bit (so many ppl at an arena)

I can't wait for the reimagined version, which is one of my favorites by Ronnie. I know that Ronnie practically IS the band and the rest more or less hired musicians, who change all time, for at least 4-5 years know. I suspect that Ronnie was the one signed to the label all along (similar to Bon Jovi), but was upholding more of a traditional band structure now, them he did back then. But the just let it's just an educated guess. After he was being betrayed by his old band Escape The Fate I get, why he wanted more control. Greetings from Germany

This is still him trying to kick his old "Escape the Fate" vibe phase. If you check out the songs of his when he was in that band they all sound good but similar. I think he startes to hate it.

If you haven't listened to Metallica yet? The guitar riffs will blow you mind. You'll need to pause often or obscure the video on our side but if you want One is a super powerful song.

I am loving all of your reactions to Tom, Samson, Upchurch, Falling In Reverse and even your political/social commentary! I see that you clearly enjoy rock/metal music and was curious if you have ever heard of Nightwish? If not, I HIGHLY recommend checking them out. Being a musician, I think you will absolutely LOVE their style and supreme musicianship. The keyboardist. Tuomas composes all of their songs. He is known as the "Metal Mozart" And their lead vocalist Floor Jensen (pronounced Yan-sen) Floor is known as the "Valkyrie of Metal" one of the best female singers in metal today. Her voice will blown your mind. A good song to start with would be: "Ghost Love Score-Live at Wacken (pronounced Vok-ken) 2013".

Nice reaction! Love the vibe of this version. This would have been great as a dual reaction with the "reimagined" version. Hope you do it next. Not sure if you noticed that this is the court room you saw in Popular Monster. Would love to see "I'm Not a Vampire" and then the newer version "I'm Not a Vampire: Revamped" in the same reaction.

I absolutely HATED this song and this genre as a whole back in the day. I still don't like the genre, but I no longer care enough to actually hate it being in my early 30s now LOL! I heard the Reimagined version like a year ago and fucking LOVED it so much, and realized that I'd heard the lyrics before and went back to re-listen to the original. I can't say that I love it, but for some reason, the Reimagined version made me grow a whole new respect for this version and I find myself jamming to it now and then, hahaha! It's weird how that worked out. I don't listen to this all the time, but it kinda puts a smile on my face when I do. Damn it, Ronnie! Making me kinda enjoy a poppy screamo song... makes me sick! Hahaha! Nah, Ronnie is the fucking man, though.
