It just occured to me: The disney references. The admission of having dirt on the industry. The line about "everything they taught you is a lie". This entire song is about the collapsing brainwashing machine that IS modern media
It's great! The imagery that he uses in the video is him as the Super Villain which fits right into that narrative. Also, "I'm about to go Darth, bout to go Disney." its amazing for him to basically be standing on Starkiller base where Hux gave his speech in The Force Awakens.
This "everything they taught you is a lie" is actually about breaking the control that organized religion has on the masses. That would be why the stained glass windows in a church blow out when he says "LIE!!" Also, that is why the pastor starts on fire and the cross falls to the ground...on fire. Sure, there are probably parts that are maybe about media, but I'm pretty sure this is just about organized religion.
Ronnie Radke has an uncanny ability to bring out all of her musical influences. He rhymes like Eminem, brings the guitar weight of great metal bands and finally, he releases a violent scream. Detail: how he transits through various musical styles, and its subgenres! He built interesting layers!
I love the, "Imma Christian, but I love this." I think you are spot on too. The whole song is about breaking the chains on indoctrination. Mixed in the church scene are views of peoples' souls being drained by their phones and computers. Even as a Christian, we shouldn't be accepting everything that is regurgitated. So much of it is fearmongering. The imagery is quite dark, but the super villain vibe he is going for was definitely achieved. Loved the video!
Ive been trying to square the 'watch the world burn' with him being the one burning the world. Look at the burning as cleansing fire not 'satanic anti-Christian' fire. Makes a lot of sense in my mind. The pastor was the first to go in the context of the song because hes one of the 'dominoes.' I'm thinking everything in the song is tied together.
I didn't get that at first, I thought it was just random and he was trying to be funny, which when I think about it would be out of place with the whole video. Not as a Sebastian Bach reference though, that makes perfect sense in the context of this video.
As a Christian I too loved this because I took it as the sin of man that spewed lies was burning to the ground! Religion at its core is not the problem, its the filth that twisted it to curse the world!
The song is amazing all the way through but the moment and after he says " watch the world burn " omg the chills I get up my body is like damn... I loooove this song and which there was still tickets for me to go see them and Hollywood undead!
Best comment ever girl! If you are listening to a Falling in reverse song and don´t headbang you are not listening to a Falling in reverse song! That is so true and the fact that I as a true metalhead headbang to rap, hiphop, gothic opera, queen, punk and badass metal in the same song shouuld not be possible. But it is! And the video! Holy shitballs of fire! That is just another level of Ronnies geniousness! Hail to the overlord of frikkin everything! Loved your reaction so thank you for this video!
It just started in a church for dramatic effect. The message in the end is along the lines of Zombified. Like, it doesn't matter who you are or what you believe if one allows oneself to be a slave, or zombie. imo
Honestly. I discovered Ronnie in my For u page when I was looking at rap song (since I'm addicted to rap) and I found Ronnie. Now I absolutely love him and band!
you're so right, their videos never disappoint and this time he is exposing the liars in religion, music industry and medias big time, also hits a Sebastian Bach lookalike with a laptop (insider joke) 🤘
As a christian as well, I enjoy the music, the messages make sense and are essentially true. Whether we like it or not, its true. I don't like the idea of the church and the priest getting burned, but it doesn't mean I don't enjoy the track. He's against the woke culture of today, that's enough for me to support the dude! Great reaction Shae!
That's too many people in these comments complaining about her pausing the video. It's a reaction channel. If your first time watching the video someone is reacting to is on the reactors channel you're doing it wrong.
What's Ronnie gonna Do... "Anything he feels like, Goshhhh". I've only watched about 30 seconds of your reaction, but I AM sure You're Realllllllllyyyy going to ❤️🖤 it Carlie
The different scenes are different villains in pop culture. I've only picked out two of them the one where he is at the podium is the First Order scene from Star Wars and scene where lasers are coming out of his eyes is Homelander from The Boys. Anybody know the rest of them?
@@francofouche8639 you do realize singles mean album right? He hasn’t made an actual album sense 2017 lol Even Five finger death punch dropped 2-3 singles then dropped their album Plus this song clear leads into another song at the end.
@@Kevalanium i never said i follow every artist words? Just something i heard a reactor mention on an old falling in reverse song and itll be weird for him to start releasing an album after 6 years of releasing just singles and reimagining of prev songs
Nice! GREAT song and a GREAT reaction. Happy Birthday young lady. I wanna wish you ALL the BEST and so MUCH more. Enjoy your day mon amie! Don't listen to Mr. Adventures down there, pause ALL you want. It's your channel, your show, do as you please. Take care and ROCK ON! 🤘🤘🤘
Great reaction. I love Falling in Reverse. Ronnie is one of the realist and most relatable artists I have ever heard. I didn't agree with your comment at the end about headbanging. I know it was said in fun but some people like me literally can't headbang (even though I want to) due to medical reasons.
I Love your Reaction to this video. This music video is amazing and Ronnie Radke puts a lot of emotion into his music. He speaks a lot of facts and truth. When he switches to Metal, it reminds me of Demon Hunter and Red which are both Christian bands that know how to get peoples attention. This music video has jumped up to 6 million views and continues to get more reactions from Rappers and metal heads.
Interesting ending, the ending kind of reminds me of a part of the Qur’an which even as a Christian I find a little crazy but song over does speak a lot about current times
Am I the only one that caught the part with the long blonde haired dude in the streets? That was Sebastian Bach and laptops falling on him and knocking him out...
I really don't like hip-hop unless it's mixed with metal, so the first half in that sense doesn't do anything for me. But the lyris and the music video? Holy shit! Basically crammed a good story and movie into a music video, pretty frkn amazing...
Some people don't understand that the location is simply a place of worship, not specifically a church. Followers are gathered there to watch Ronnie "be exorcised" and he sees through the brainwashing machine. I assume he also prob has dirt on plenty of popular bands. Like all the ones using tracked drums and lip sing tracks and such. He's toured with plenty of them over the years. Enough to see the seedy underbelly of the music industry
Sebastian Bach pissed Ronnie off awhile back and that’s the (semi) look alike guy the laptops fall on… the argument was over laptops not making it to an FIR concert in time.
only thing that bothers me about the song is the abrupt end. it just doesn't feel right. imo it probably would have been better to end it with the choir in the background. but aside from that, it's a banger.
The song definitely needed to be longer. I feel the song is about how fake and two face everyone from top to bottom has become and how it’s ripping society apart
On you mentioning about mental health is everyone forgetting him making fatphobic comments and other phobic comments too? Don't get me wrong right now am separating music from the person cause its a awesome song
I have a band you should check out that I think you will love. The band is Afterlife . . . I would suggest that you start with their song Throat, but you should also check out Part of Me and Envy! Lead vocal, Tyler, is another "do it all" talent.
As a Christian, I did struggle with this the first time I heard/watched it. However, after the first couple of views, I was able to realize it isn't satanic/anti-God, it's anti establishment.
