Heyyyyy guys. So before anyone comments something nasty. (Everyone is always so so nice but I just want to point this out before someone might comment hate not help) Yes, I know how to wrap standing wraps. It has just been awhile since I last did. But yes, these are not wrapped well. These were the only ones they had and that were given to me, they were pony size so they didn't go down all the way. I know the first one was loose at the beginning and one was clock-wise, but they were only on for a few hours. It certainly wasn't my best job and I cringe looking at it haha. XD I have other videos of my wrap jobs too, that are actually wrapped correctly lol. But thank y'all! Love ya and I hope you have an amazing dayyyy! :D
Beautiful ride, love how you reacted when he refused that jump for the first time and you were calm and let him look at it. I know people who beat their horses after refusals and it pains me to watch it.
Shocking, absolutely shocking that people would beat their horses when they refuse a jump?? They need to be charged with animal abuse and forfeit ownership of said animal!!! And, receive like treatment!??
You know your an equestrian when your watching a horse approach a jump and you click, squeeze your thighs, and lean forward when they go over the actual jump lol
Charlotte_ equestrianxx yaaaas! I do it so much❤️😂 even if the video doesn’t look that good from the thumbnail Justine always makes the video amazing!! She obviously my favorite RU-vidr! She’s so inspirational!
I was kinda sad when she put the music on because i kinda like when she talks and stuff idk why like if you agree 👍 no hate btw love you Justineeee!!!!!
My God you are so funny and such a great editor! Bravo looked like the sweetest boy and he has such tiny strides. Love you guys, don't listen to anyone telling you what's right and wrong, you do you
What an awesome horse! He adjusts so well to the distances!! My horse looks at the jump and is like ‘mom we’re going to pretend we are in the jumper ring today’ and won’t listen at all. Awesome video!!
I love seeing such a fresh, young face in the equine youtube community. I've been watching you for a few months now, and every video, I feel like I'm able to get one step closer to getting back to my babies at the barn. As weird as this is, you help with my recovery so much, from your humor to all around good content. Keep doing what you're doing babes!
You're a really talented jumper and equestrian! I've never rode english before. I love watching your videos! Also, when I go to my barn, I always ride a mare named "Tequila" Yes, I know its wine but the horse is not mine. The last time I role Tequila she got 'hot' If you know what I mean. (If you don't it's fine I will explain. "Hot" is where a horse eats too much alfalfa. (A certain kind of hay) And they get to 'rowdy'. So, anyways, A big truck passed by the road (The road is never usually this busy) and she started to buck. She kept on acting up and they told me to go over the jump. (I'm western and yes we do jump! :) ) Then when I went over it..well.. It wasn't over.. it was more 'buck, then jump'. But yeah, i'm not really surprised I didn't fall off! :D But soon I will be riding english and i'm super exited!!! Goodbye! And I will tell you some more stories on your next video! :D
You handled the fall greatly! It is very clear that you let go of the reins, did not yank your horses face off and did not get mad at him like a lot of rude riders do! It is very obvious that you are a great rider 👍🏻♥️
I most likely won't make a video about it. But, do things you enjoy while riding and don't push yourself. If you enjoy bareback, do that, if it's gymnastics, try that! Take things slow and really get to know your horse so you can trust it. If the horses are making you scared, try another horse or another barn. If you're trainer is making you uncomfortable with what you're doing, try switching trainers for a bit to see if there's any difference. Spend time on the ground to really gain confidence with your horse. Best of luck! :D
Justine I love you so much, you are such an inspiration to me as an equestrian and as a person in general. You make me laugh, smile, and I can't say enough about your intro! Keep going and I can't wait till your next vid! Ily
Ooooh I really wanna try cross country it looks so fun!! We can’t do it rn though since the barn that I ride at doesn’t do xc, all the places that do xc near us apparently have crazy people that own the barn or they’re just too expensive, and all the other ones are just too far away and I wouldn’t have time to do homework and stuff if I rode there... We’re gonna move soon, hopefully next year or in 2020, and where we’re moving is really close to a good barn that does xc!!! They even have cheap lease horses!!! Yayyyy I’m so excited!!!! 😆
omg am i the only one who feels you are the only good equestrian youtuber !!! there aren't half enough youtubers like this for us crazy equestrians like i LOOOOOVE all your vids like so much
i really meant it ! @justinepalmer could you maybe do a vid about getting over fear(maybe tips and tricks ) ... because im 13 years old and have been riding for 12 years and the one thing that always blocks me is fear, i have kind of learn't how to deal with it but still... and we equestrians know that in front of a jump of 4ft you cant be scared, especially with my 6 yo pony ... i hope you see this xoxoxo
Aww he's so good! You never know what evil monsters hide behind signs, logs, leaves, etc.... they can be so vicious! Or maybe it was an invisible panther!
You’ve probably said this before but what type of go pro do you use//recommend? I’m trying to get one for my birthday coming so I can use it while jumping and this video with the GoPro shots is really fantastic❤️❤️
Hey Justine. I love you a lot and I have your merch! I just have a quick question tho... I’ve just recently fallen off my horse (that I half lease) while I was cantering I turned a corner and fell onto a barrel and fractured my elbow. I am scared to canter now and I really wanna over come my fear. How do you always get up and do it again after you fall? Thanks! 💖
you have just earned another subscriber! you ride beautifully! I haven't done XC in over two years because I've been jumping for 9 years and barrel racing for one year, so XC just isn't in my schedule rn, lol.
Well done even though the horse spooked and refused a few times and even after you fell off you still got back on and got him over the the jumps and rode him really well
