You clearly aren't listening to the correct bands then because Christian rock and rock music in general has gotten much more energetic and heavy over the last decade
In this moment synchronized inside Words that paint a legacy of life A different picture will unfold A healing finds its way through Fifty times I take another breath With an ambiance of nothing left So heal my heart rain down your love These waters bring me back to life Father, healer, deliver me from broken love Stay here, closer, let me hear your voice of love There's a healing calling from the wind There's a healer waiting to begin In timeless places, traced and faceless Will I learn to let go? Take me to the heights where love controls Far away from home but feels so close This empty heart of mine Will fall inside and bring me back to life Father, healer, deliver me from broken love Stay here, closer, let me hear your voice of love You can hold, you can mend You can heal, you can break I hold 'cause something etched this way Father, healer, deliver me from broken love Stay here, closer, let me hear your voice of love Savior, redeemer, bring me to this place of peace Jesus, guardian, my broken heart is so in need
Dude, that's the biggest part of the Christian faith, he died for everyone's sins on a global level but also on a personal level, you have got to be joking or just not Christian. Regardless, its not being selfish.
"I came, I saw, I came, I saw I praise the Lord, then break the law I take what's mine, then take some more It rains, it pours, it rains, it pours I came, I saw, I came, I saw I praise the Lord, then break the law I take what's mine, then take some more It rains, it pours, it rains, it pours" Matthew 21:22
I’m telling you, this band was AWESOME back in the day, the album “Crashings” is so good, so so good! Every song rocks, it’s a shame that they still don’t come out with music like this. And common, I mean the lead singer, he was my crush when I was younger. 😅
I first heard this song when I was 9-10 years old and it's still one of my favorites. I love falling up so much! It took 12 years, but they finally got a million views! Congrats guys! Keep spreading the love of Jesus!
@@papabroly8000 because he was either still healing or just beginning to heal, i think this video isn't meant to be happy but to show the path to happiness
First time I heard this song I was 16 and it spoke to me so deeply. Here I am 10 years later and it still says what I need. Lord heal me from this broken love.
I wish they would have rode the style of this song all the way through... when he says Jesus... it brings me to tears every time. This style was so ahead of it's time, it's shifted to what music is missing in the now. Broken hearted is such a great relatable song, weather you're in the gym working out, or having your heart tore out.
Oh man so many memories with this band. These were the good days. It’s crazy to come back here and listen to them and realize that they still hold up today as a great band.Like if they were a band just getting started I think they go places in today’s scene
I really love this song. I seen falling up live one time and i loved it there amazing i was able to get them to sign my arm. Sometimes after having broken love we ask god to help us or even ask why did it happen but god always has a solution and things get better with time
I listened this when i was emo... Now i remembered this song, came to listen. You know, nothing changed with time, i understand that i'm the same as i was... but only clothes different. Still love this song - it will never change no matter what i'm in
im so glad that as christians we can have bands like falling up ,pillar, skillet, red, and thousand foot krutch that has the hard rock feel to them and know for a fact they are christian bands it makes me so happy
Listening to this brings back memories. i remember seeing them in concert a long time a go and we asked him if we could take a picture of him...of course he agreed i still have the photo of him and a giant smile :D this song is awesome!!!
oh man so many memories, I used to be so into God when I was a kid. i remember me and my best friend from church being so in love with the singer of this band. that was such a long time ago.
Jacob Clark There's no probably about it. People can hate God all they want, they can push Him away all they want, but He will always believe in them. He will always love them. He will always welcome them back. FACT.
Swear to God haven’t listened to some good Christian rock in a while, I started trying to remember some I liked years ago and thought of falling up but couldn’t remember their name. Decided to shuffle someone’s Christian rock list and bam, second song! Awesome.
Sergio Lopez I know this comments Is months old but falling up is still going and their new album is going to include this song reimaigined. Tbh I think there new stuff is 100x better than this album but it's still quite a good one.
They havent announced a date yet but they are mdiway through recording so i would presume late this year. You can check out the latest information on their kickstarter, and they also have many released albums over the past through years on there bandcamp.
Back when I was a christian i remember listening to music like this non stop! this song in particular among my favorites! Bands like these will always hold a special place in my cold atheist heart.
Please come back to the hands of God, he doesn't forget about you, He's waiting for you to comeback and heal all of your wounds. Jesus loves you, yesterday, today and tomorrow.
When i was younger my brother gave me a portable dvd player with one disc in it and the first song on that disc was this one. I played it over and over
@Josiah Pierce Repenting means to cease from sin (completely) and to become obedient to God. You can't be obedient to God if you are continuing to sin. Not only are there countless verses about this but yes, it's possible to cease from sin and obey God all the time as Yeshua tells us "nothing is impossible". He didn't add any exceptions to that statement.
@Josiah Pierce Everyone is born into sin, but after receiving the Spirit of God we have the power to do anything God wants us to, including cease from sin. And yes, the bible does say that as Yeshua says "no sin will enter heaven". If fallen angels got kicked out for sinning one time, why do you think we can get in if we aren't 100% ceased from it? That goes against everything the Bible and God Himself has taught me. And God doesn't remove the devil from the earth not only because it's not time for that yet, but because we are designed to CONQUER him, not to hide from him. Also, please find me a verse that says "no one is perfect". There's hundreds of God commanding us to "be perfect" since you know, we are designed to be LIKE Him and even verses stating that we are "gods" since we are LIKE God or supposed to be. Stop justifying sin and start establishing better communications with God. NOTHING is impossible.
@Josiah Pierce You really do not know the bible or God at all based on what you just said and since I don't have time to explain everything God Himself has taught me, especially because you just want to accuse me of sharing my "opinion" rather than the literal truth God Himself told me, all I'm gonna say is learn the same way I did by establishing a strong and clear communication with God where you can have two way conversations. It might take a little time, but is more than possible. I do it all the time.
@Josiah Pierce I'm not a Christian. And it's not about me. Just another example of how I know you aren't choosing to learn from God. And once you do choose to do that, it's easy to see who else has and hasn't done that. It's called spiritual discernment. Again, seek God, not answers from other people.
@Josiah Pierce God is a Person, the bible is a book. What do those things have to do with Christianity aside from the fact most Christians talk about God and use a bible? Is the mainstream narrative all you're capable of seeing?
in all honesty, Christian rock music peaked when Falling Up, the old Hawk Nelson and the old school Kutless were around. Now we got Christian bands that call themselves "rock bands" but they all sound almost exactly the same as the Newsboys. Not gonna lie i miss these old times when the music was this enjoyable to listen and didnt try to imitate styles from other bands
This song has helped me through every relationship I've had where I was let down (broken love). Always reminds me to go to Him for any hurt cuz He heals so I can keep loving. I'm curious whether the girl in this represents the woman who broke his heart, or the right woman for him that he can't find because he's too hurt? Thoughts?
I saw this band long long ago performing at a christian church in california =D i think it was around hemet or something but point is i still remember the performance and think it's amazing i found it on youtube!! good job guys!!!
