If you are looking for easy access to major metro metros but don't want to pay the high prices of homes in those areas, consider Falling Waters. It's right across the Maryland border and has really nice features. The Potomac River covers the whole eastern edge of Falling Waters so you'll find some great waterfront properties.

This channel is all about living in the Eastern Panhandle. Paul and I moved here about 20 years ago from the DC area. We love it.
