Unless you have no Vic and really low Repair skill it's better to keep power on 100%. Only two things 50% does is turn off lights and make all forcefields red (passable but damage you) from green (impassable but can be disabled by Repair check on emitter). Beside that in the table left from entrance is a paper with password which allows you to access that computer where you failed hacking attempt.
