The worst part of this game is the factions. Every decision is bad. Both the institute and the Brotherhood are filled with really intelligent people and tonnes of technology that could do so much for the world. Yet you have to kill them. If it were truly up to me I would not have sided with either them. Just let the cards fall where they may and defend those who I felt needed defending. Such as while I'm not going to destroy the brotherhood I will damn make sure they don't destroy goodneighbor. It would be good to be able to change both factions. Infiltrate the BoS and turn them into what the Lyons had in mind for them. Then go into the institute and change their mind about doing all that crazy body snatcher shit. This could be done with changes of leadership which let's face it is entirely possible. Then you'd be left with two mighty groups who are relatively a forcce for good.

Yeah. But that is where the war part comes in. You just can't save them all. WW2 for example: The germans were one of the fastest developing civilizations ever yet we just had to defeat them cuz they had a certain mindset and you just can't change that. There's not been a war without terrible consequences and this depicts that pretty well.

And because there IS a way to unite ALL of the factions I’m in the process of doing it and so far so good, by Unite I mean you won’t be targeted by any of em, certain points have you do certain things and notify the right people, right companions, and much more annoying work, you can put them all in the same stale mate they’ve been in since they became a thing

Instead, we obligatory have to destroy two of the most powerful weapons in existance. And what about just taking the Institute and the tecnology they have instead of blowing the damn thing? The Prydwen didn't use hydrogen, it relied on a nuclear reactor scavenged from an aircraft carrier, hence why Ingram asks you to make some coolant for her

+Leonardo Bazan if you attack the airship with the institute they say it's filled with hydrogen to keep it up. I know it uses a reactor for power but those 4 turbines can't keep it up so they need hydrogen to help like the blimps.

Railroad version of the explosion is the best outcome , because its a frontal assult they get ample warning to remove non combate personal once you arrive and most likely in the time it took to plant the bombs and detonate most personal may have evacuated

Peyton Bergman Nope, most you can do is save synth Shaun, only Railroad and Minutmen endings offer ability to save civilians in the Instute, but again, you have to destroy Prydwen anyway

Rude Normie technically you can... side with the railroad and you'll blow up the institute and the BOS, then kill everyone in the railroad. and (with mods tha are available on all platforms now) you can kill Preston, Ronnie Shaw and anyone else you think represents the minuteman

Rude Normie Side with the railoraod then use commands to make them non essential, get nuka world and take one settlement for the raiders (makes minutemen hostile even if you didn't meet them yet) then kill all the raiders
