Glad to hear it. I'm not sure what to cover right now though and my mod is on hold, though still in the back of my mind. Anything in particular you'd like me to cover?
First thing that comes to mind is "How to Edit Terrain in Outdoor Areas", by which I mean on the Commonwealth map. It could cover things like how to add fast travel icons to players' PiPboy maps and the basics of altering terrain.I would like to see you do a quest which sends the player to Cheers, and they're always glad you came. Honestly, I can think of a hundred questions which could be addressed in videos but I think at least those two would round out your series of basic tutorials. Thanks for these videos and for the response.
Good ideas. I actually do want to make it show up on your map, since it currently does not. Been thinking of starting to set up the rest of the quest soon.
Agreed! I was testing out such things yesterday evening and thought about getting some help with it. Well... it worked. Here I am and it helped quite a lot! Thanks! :)
So I've been playing around a bit with idle markers like showed here. Sometimes the idle markers seems to be to close to each other and due to the collision of the NPCs the animation is interrupted (example, 2 NPCs leaning against wall but the markers are to close so one is left "idle"). I know that a simple fix is to adjust the position of the idle markers, but sometimes I want them a bit closer for immersive touches (would be cool to make a arm-wressling anim for example in a bar =). I've seen talk about (debug?)translateTo() to remove collision and stuff like that but no examples. Anyone knows?
I couldn't tell you how to make the player do it. You'd probably have to get into the papyrus code. Probably casting a "spell" on the player that triggers the animation. Look into how current player animations are called on would be the best I could offer.
