Fallout 4 Finch Farm Settlement Tour - NO MODS 

It's one of the best things about it! And even if you don't, that means the height is so high you can build from the ground all the way up to it! Super fun. :)

It's honestly the only place I've ever built on. Edit: As soon as I saw the bridge for the 1st time, I thought ; "I'm building up THERE!"

Thanks so much for watching and the thoughtful comments! I noticed the flying settler after I recorded my audio so I left it alone. In my mind it's those pesky Zetans at it again! Agreed with the caravan post. I know with mods you could do all sorts of behavioral things with NPCs, but with no mods it really does add to any settlement. Yes, when I got to the point in the game where I could build those pieces, I ran around different settlements just building those bits and leaving them there in case I wanted to use them later. In this case I thought the platform looked cool with the bench. :) Agreed on the bus. I almost threw in a trailer too but I had too many other structures I wanted to build first. Good call on the stair step. Will modify the design for the next time I create another of these at a settlement. Love the idea of a picnic table with the restaurant. Maybe at Greygarden? PS5 performance is really good in terms of framerate and combat. However, the game will still crash once you go over the build limit enough times and the controls are very sensitive compared to the PS4. I had to "relearn" how to walk around the settlement to record the video because at first I was moving so fast it was hard to get a good look at anything. Sadly, junk still falls through the floor. I think that's just a matter of the game code and not hardware. :(

3:45 I thought that looked different but I don't like Automatron so I'm not real familiar with the robot workbench. Thanks for pointing that out.

I have started to eschew major decorating as well to stabilize the settlements. It's a fun challenge to get what I am looking for without running any mods. 🙂

It's been a crazy time for me work-wise so I didnt have time to write a proper reply comment til now. *I didn't notice the "UFO abductee" until after I had published the video. I'm so glad I have such a bizarre moment on video! *I love the Trader tent but I totally get what you mean by lag, esp. if all the traders show up at the same time. *Re: the Vault statues, I wanted to do something a bit silly for "advertising" so they seemed to fit the bill. *Yeah, part of me wishes we had vertical and horizontal piping (without mods) so I could have run something along the bottom edge. *I did have to fill in the gaps on those floors before building up. I fell through them several times initially! *I was originally going to slap one of the metal roof pieces there instead, but then I just went through the menus and decided it would be fun to try out. :) Thanks again for watching and your kind thoughts as always!

Drop weapons to the ground and store them in the workshop. :). Gamma guns work best!

Hi, thanks for watching! The Finch Family still lives there. Abraham and Abigail are assigned to farming. Jake is assigned to security so he wanders around. The only one who appears in this video is Daniel, who appears on the porch in the red shirt at 0:46. You see him again at 1:34.

Sadly they are. I think it's more of a matter of the game engine than hardware.

Agreed, but even then the performance between my PS4 and PS5 is very different. Before I even completed this settlement on my PS4 the framerate was getting really bad. Once I finished it up on my PS5 it was much smoother. I figure it lasted long enough to let me get this video so at least there was that. :)

No mods were used in this build. If you have any specific questions I'm happy to answer them. Every technique I used can be found on other channels including Sardeliac's and The Insane Shecklador's.
