There's a few options still: People who confided in their friends/spouses, then got turned in. Counting people that openly had some chinese heritage as 'admitting it before apprehension'. It considers the Deadly Force to be the apprehension. It's a crazy robot, its stats are off.
There was a movie where they were trying to figure out who was the spy. The correct answer to "who was the 14th president of the United States" was "How the hell should I know that?"
"The Great War's been over for 200 years." "*THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT CHINESE SPIES ALWAYS SAY!*" I hope we realize that he's referring to the countless other wandering people that have tried to tell him the war's over.
There is that one recorded incident where the last Japanese soldier in the Philippines held his station well after the war, performing solo raids to survive and self aid until the government communicated with Japan to get his already retired commanding officer to relieve him of duty. As he acted with knowledge he is in a state of war until relieved by command and communication completely broke down at the end of the war, no charges are pressed.
traci beachel Going back to the Legion quickly, they also had positives the deeper you look into it, the negatives were just more oblique than the other factions, such as the safety for traders in their territory versus the taxes of the NCR without sufficient protection. Going back to the original point, those would all be fantastic if they had any bearing on the end game, the beauty of FNV was feeling like your decisions would have consequences later on, such as wiping out or helping the Boomers, recruiting the Great Khans or making peace between the Brotherhood of Steel and NCR. Fallout 4 has nothing, I could never build a single settlement up and could still go for the Minutemen ending and have the exact same number of soldiers as someone who's sunk hours into the game.
traci beachel Also forgot to mention companions, their bearing on discussions is a nice gimmick but otherwise completely void. They lack sufficient depth in comparison to those of FNV. Like let's take the dog companions for example, Dogmeat versus Rex, who had better integration into the story? Also, you literally get 5+ companions over the course of the main narrative, they're literally shoved down your throat, but they all lack quests; just have an affinity system which is... basic. Also, thanks for being civil; nice change from most of RU-vid
traci beachel I haven't got time for a full response right now but I agree somewhat, as for nostalgia; not really, I started playing it after Skyrim came out and fell in love with it; I was ridiculously hyped for Fallout 4 but it felt empty and generic to me. Part of my issue I forgot to mention before is the limitations imposed by a voiced protagonist and by the dialogue system generally. Positive, Negative, Neutral/Sarcastic or Question. Occasionally the question branched but the others mainly led to the same end game. As for the ending, I'll concede somewhat; aside from the checkpoints however; what changes after Fallout 4? New Vegas' end slides provide a sense of purpose to your actions, you get a definitive answer to what happens to the factions you interact with. Fallout 4 isn't necessarily a bad game, but in my opinion it isn't as much of a RPG as New Vegas. How many different endings and variations are there for Fallout 4? And how many variations and endings are there for Fallout: New Vegas? Both have their merits, it's just clear that one of them focused on being a shooter more than a role playing game. No matter what, you are the good guy to some extent. (With exception of Nuka World, which was honestly refreshing but the DLC has it's own problems, I think you'll agree.)
Considering that your character *was* alive 200 years ago, it would have been an interesting option if you were allowed to prove to the robot that you’re an American war vet.
You know, terrible as it is to say, but after running into the Chinese Submarine that was positioned right off the coast at the time of the Great War, the Chinese bunkers hidden under the home of a prominent political family and the resort that served as the Congressional fallout shelter, the multiple Chinese front companies, not to mention the dozens of skeletons from the time of the Great War that had copies of the Chinese special ops manual, the prewar paranoia about Chinese infiltration seems a little justified
@@user-lm5ws5rc8w He never said anything of that sort... he just said the paranoia was justified, the same could be said for China if they had such paranoia and front companies, American subs etc were there
I've seen the Submarine, but the rest of that, like bunkers under the home - can you show me were to find that? I found a Chinese family home west of Natick, is that it? It was mostly about how Chinese Americans were persecuted.
Its almost like spies exist and we also have them in every country on earth. Fallout just takes it to the extreme as espionage was China's biggest/only advantage over the US who went for brute force instead.
This is great! I read during WWII, one of our ships sank and the survivors were afloat in the middle of the Pacific. When a passing ship, concerned of potential Japanese trickery asked several questions "Only Americans" would know, was finally satisfied when the group started yell curse words at them and telling them to "fuck off". Gotta love it!
@@nickb3164Best AK's are not made by communists. Build quality is too poor for accurate targeting and prolonged use unless you enjoy stress injuries to your rib cage. Modern weapons are quite rugged.
NSDAP: National *Socialist* German *Workers'* Party. Really not very different from communists at all. Except they believed in their own nation. Oh, and Communists had a MUCH higher body count. It's still rising today.
do you think buffalo wings have real buffalo in them? If you look at Nazi policies they overwhelmingly favored corporate interests over the rights of workers. Just because you call yourself socialist doesn't mean you actually are.
Usually, when I encounter robots in the wild, and I have the power, I apply DEADLY FORCE immediately. Maybe I've been missing out on some fun encounters this way. Thank you for sharing this fun video.
Kevin Picton tbh, MEA looks much better in graphics, faces and everything else. Maybe you should move off the windows 98, try a machine that can actually play Andromeda. :D But then again, I only did play it like, a year or so after release. Edit: dw man no insult intended :) I was just joking around.
@@artyom8905 Worse on dialogue and side quests, better in pretty much everything else like gun crafting, perks, the actual map, enemy behavior, power armour, junk economy, settlement building which wasn't even available in previous fallout's and of course graphics.
@@davidlennyman444 personally i love fallout 4 more than any other story was good there is a lot to do gameplay is amazing and solo survival actually speaks and not too much un nesesery dialog .
@@warclock3224 Yes, because people like following the majority like sheep. Even people who haven't played the game shit on it, because everyone else shits on it. Likewise, they suck NV's d because everyone else is doing it, even though they haven't played it. People just decide what gets the hate hammer and what doesn't. There is no "this game is better in certain ways". It's just black and white: good game or bad game. Such a stupid outlook.
What's amazing is that Nate (Male default Character) never mentions his military background, probably because Nora (Female default Character) meeting one of these wouldn't make sense, maybe she could prove she had a diploma?
Any laser optic on a gun with wood furniture is questionable yes, but have you ever held a real double barrel shotgun? The sights are just a single tiny dot, but it's just a video game. 90%+ of all shooting games give the double barrel shotgun a ridiculous spread.
Atago Chan and I'm replying to a 6h message that speaks to a 8h message that reply's to a year old message of a 3 years message... Did I got that right ?
Does anyone else find it terrifying that the Mr Gutsy unit has come across enough "infiltrators" that it can analyse percentages of the most frequent responses given?
The Legendary One true, the system could be a bit better, like skyrim. It reminded me of LA Noir because you can't tell exactly what you're going to say.
I love how they KNEW you’d try the logical answer. And then set up the “Fuck Off” answer like. See this? This will be how you feel in the next oh let’s say, 1 minute and 19 seconds.
I'm kinda surprised that you can't just identify yourself, you are either a person in the military or the spouse of someone in the military that might be enough for a Mr. Gutsy. Of course that would require there to be more than 4 speech options...
traci beachel Then it ain't about how much you know Fallout 4, it's how much you know everything else. See, if you've played games with good dialogue, even the older Fallout games, you'd know that FO4 is just inferior. Shallow as hell.
traci beachel Fallout 4 has the folloving options for dialogue: 1. Yes 2. No 3. Information (usually also yes) 4. Sarcastic (can be anything from being a dick, yes, no, or friendly banter) Seriously, Sarcastic can be "Local man says *no* " so you decline, or it could be "I would love to assist helpless farmers" which means yes. You don't even know what you're going to say, the dialogue is retarded and the options suck ass
1:18 I was born, raised, and currently live in The US. And I can say with full assurance that this is certainly such a for sure,100%,totally authentic,American thing to say.
Wow, what an intuitive and complex dialogue system. Why did they advertise it like a selling point when literally three of the four options had the same outcome?
>be me >have the Ultimate Communist mod installed >have blaring communist music playing on Pip-Boy >Have a Soviet General's uniform and a Red Star ushanka on >Character is named Markov >Passes test
+dylan Klebold When americans don't undestand that fallout, especially fallout new vegas, is an antifascist game. Caesar legion=fascism, NCR=classic capitalist country, Mr Vegas and the strip=AnCapism/Market Liberalism, Yesman(and the followers)=collectivist libertarianism
I think the best part is. That the tiny story your character had is that he was in the military so he could probly just say his name and will find it in the database
