I really like the setup here. It actually makes quite a lot of sense to make the home in an incredibly difficult to reach location, such as this, in order to keep out "uninvited guests". The only thing I might have done differently would have been to add some kind of rain catchment system as a backup to your bucket on a pulley system. You planted crops as a backup to food being lifted up via the pulley. So it makes sense to have some kind of backup with water as well. But man am I having to nitpick to go that far. 😉 Overall an excellent build!
Looks like a fun build, however in reality I would hate to live there as I can imagine the constant swaying of the hanging platform which is going to give me anxiety that I am gonna fall at anytime. Secondly, if this is real life, a gunner or raider equipped with a missile launcher will certainly be the death of me as the wooden platform will easily be wrecked 😅
No no, I installed backup chains... you'd be safe. The conduit wire is also there to stabilize the structure. 100% wind-proof! Probably...... Also, there is a minutemen checkpoint below this structure. A great deterrent for the commonwealth's less desirable characters.
Greetings Mr. Jabber! Your bus build's demise is most assuredly mourned, may it RIP. 😢 I have experienced major losses as well (in the original edition Vanilla game), and share your grief. I am also eager to see what you will do with the next one! Cheers!
I imagine in the game some wastelander could really build this but would choose a location far from city to avoid people's "curious eyes". Would be a fun site for the player to discover.😊
Greetings and Salutations, Mr. Jabber! I am so pleased that you have obviously recovered from the recent update catastrophe. Congratulations are in order! I have been eagerly looking forward to your next innovative invention, and am definitely far from disappointed. In my opinion, this creation fails to NOT be lore-friendly, partly due to simple logic, and partly to what some call my overly-active imagination 😅. In addition to the privy situation, I find the suspension concept particularly intriguing. While perhaps a "stretch", it still seems to be somehow believable. I shall definitely file that unique manipulation of reality close at hand, for future reference. Although, as you so aptly pointed out, without access to a jet-pac, access to this domicile would be just a bit "not convenient". ;) But I would never let a minor detail like that deter me. :) Many thanks, Mr. Jabber!
Thank you 👍 Still bummed about the bus build but I have another one coming up to replace. The theme is a little different second time round. Will see where this one goes!
Oh I'm not a purist.... Not by a long shot LOL As a matter of fact, my goal over the last 5 years is to make fallout 4 as realistic as possible. Which includes on occasion using Mazda to turn the super mutants into humans... Okay fine, raiders. But still. LOL
