Whenever I try this it still consumes my junk without anything in the workbench is this patches or am I doing something wrong. Well I do have armor in there still is that the issue?
Gonna try this in a bit. I saw the copper statues in the background and got nervous but it was actually something new hahaha. Thanks for the content homie.
Now that you mention it, I really wish I had gotten rid of them as I can see how someone would instantly think it's THAT glitch I'm showing. Thank you though for giving it just a bit longer to see that it is in fact something different and MUCH better haha. Enjoy and you're very welcome :)
@@troublemakerbros4267 that’s fair and makes me feel a bit better. I think most people would probably at least skip ahead 1-2 minutes to see if I was messing with statues. Obviously I’m not so upon that realization they’ll hopefully back up and watch/enjoy the much better glitch shown :)
Awesome vid man. I went from 34 to 109 in an hour with 9 intelligence and level 2 idiot savant, and with no sleep bonus. Super clear instructions. \,,/
OMG THANK YOUUUU!!!!! i just watched another video and the dude didnt explain anything the way you did. I just went from level 24 to level 69 in about 20 minutes. Time to finally play the game the proper way.
@@williamallen7386 that’s because 61 is what you did the glitch to. The XP is simply visually having to catch up is all. You can do the glitch again to keep going higher.
This is the exact glitch I was looking for. I remember using it all the way back when the automaton dlc came out! I just couldn’t remember how to do it
Also a tip for anyone on xbox trust me your finger or thumb will become numb and sore after 20 mins of doing this, if you go into the xbox controller settings and remap the left d pad to the a button, its alot easier and smoother process spamming the a button than it is the d pad
@@samschreiber1640 Definitely. Just another thing to essentially min max how much XP you get. If you're going for max or even close to that to get all/most perks than it would be worth it for sure.
If only 😭 Knock on wood, but I haven’t crashed at all yet on this new update and while playing on PS5 quite a bit. Let’s hope it stays that way 😂 What do you play on?
Strange that nothing would come up as there were plenty of videos to be found including my own. Back in the early / prime days of Fallout 4 I was one of if not the main person doing this kind of content and that was probably getting the most / fastest growth from it. Given that, I of course posted a LOT of glitches and so the majority of what I've posted since the next gen update came out does come from what I already knew, yes. There are a couple of variations or efficiency improvements on glitches that are new to me as of coming back due to when they came about versus when I stepped away, but most things as well as the basis of everything is about the same. Thankfully much of what was possible back then is still possible now too.
I assume fast travelling away and back as well as saving/quitting/reloading hasn't helped? Maybe roam the nearby area as well to make sure one isn't hiding or stuck if so I guess? Major bummer regardless. Wish stuff like that never happened.
Glad this was clearly explained step by step. Other videos really brush over clearly important parts of the glitch. Top 3 Highlights that hit above other videos: 1) The whole thing hangs on that protectrons torso mod being in your inventory. 2) It is infinite! I went from lvl 28-56 (doubled) on my first attempt. It needed to go through the level by level experience but always says 56 level reached. Everything was fine after it did all 28 levels of XP. 3) The companion menu will open instantly sometimes. Try again. It will work eventually.
I literally went from level 15 to 60 in 25 min lol. I had to start at level 15 bc that’s when the quest activated. I love this bc I was level 70 on Xbox series x. I am replaying on ps5. I’m currently never 60. This is ridiculous
@@jtflemming9257 I haven't actually used it yet. Just watched a bunch of videos. I think its one of the new quests called the new ways or something. I'd just Google it as I don't want to point you on the wrong direction. I just restarted after playing f076(got bored at L103) and wanted to try a minigun basher with PA. So I'm setting that up now and then I want to see how good it is in fo4. In fo76 it's game changing. I doubt it'll be the same but we'll see.
Weird question, does this work if you have suplly lines! Pretty much every settlement of mine is connected to another for resources. I assuem I have to cut ties?
The two torso thing helped me out greatly. I watched a couple more videos about this and didn't get any success. But when I did it with your video I heard the useful idiot perk go off immediately and knew I was doing it right. Makes an odd sound when you were doing it right
You are my favorite officially lol, explained everything to do for every system and how it works thank you it will help me in the long run for powe levels after accidentally speed running fallout for some achievements 😅
@@mkcophoto9032 I haven’t maxed out everything. I’m currently at level 140 and got every perk I I wanted. From level 110 to 140 it took me about an hour, but I splitted in 3 „sessions“ since the game could crash if you earn to many XP at once.
Thanks. I was trying to find my human companions to sit on a chair but all this time I could use Dogmeat! Just got Ada so I could do this glitch but I thought the companion needed to sit on a chair but Ada can’t sit. I was about to go on another mission and build that Vault Tec thing that finds where your lost companions were, but I’ll do that later after I do this.
Nope, no need for a chair thankfully! The window of time when initiation a trade with a companion is usually more than enough to be able to get into the robot workbench. Enjoy!
Did you do it for too long maybe? I've heard of someone doing it for like 1, maybe closer to 2 hours and then when they back out it crashes. Seems random or short of going on for way too long. I personally haven't had any issues, but I'm normally not doing it for more than like 15-20 minutes each time.
Did it yesterday and it worked went from 37 to 101 in 40 mins. Did it again today for another 30mins this time slower due to thumb fatigue went up 30 levels all for the game to freeze and crash on me 💀. Gonna retry again later today 🤦🏻♂️
been subbed to you since 2017 and remember when u first put out these glitches. now others have claimed it as their own with this update.thanks for all you do man
For some reason after I put all my junk into the container when I go to start the glitch, it still says I have materials, especially steel had like 900, any thoughts?
My first and second time had no issue with it. The third time I had reached lvl 213 from 153 and the game froze for me. I was so mad after trying it for the fourth time reached only 10 lvls the game froze again
Yeah I've seen a few say when they went for a lengthier amount of time that a crash occurred when they tried to back out of the workbench. Too much of the same input over and over or XP in total for the game to load/register I guess lmao.
Do I have to press right every time doing the spamming or can I just hold it down for PS4? I’m already lvl 122 through regular play through from my old save file, but the grind is slow now and I need a few more perks to complete my sneak build.
Im confused. I accomplished this glitch but the only strange thing is I am stuck on level 74??? I kept getting thousands of XP but everytime the alert would always say....74...74....74???
74 is likely the level that all of the glitching got you to. The level is caught up, the XP is backed up and so continuing to say level 74. Do the glitch some more and you'll notice you go up to 75 for instance just as you should.
You need to start the DLC, yeah. Get to level 15 and then you'll be able to do the beginning of the first quest where you'll meet ada and kill some robots. After you talk to her I believe you then can craft the robot workbench. Worst case scenario you have to complete the first quest of the DLC which isn't long or anything.
Glitchy glitch. Ive tried this and after a few levels, (like level 5) it stopped counting level ups completely and stopped giving me perks. Had to reload save from before i did the glitch. So this barely works for xp grinding
Interesting. I haven't had anyone else mention something like this happening nor have I had it happen or seen someone mention such elsewhere. Any chance it's something you're doing wrong? If 100% not than I guess maybe somehow your save is just bugged and in a way that's conflicting with this? Yeah though, this has been around a long time and the issue you're mentioning isn't something I ever see people encountering. On the contrary it always seems to work out very well for people and get them to any level they want with ease haha.
@DemonAsylum Wdym save is bugged? I don't think it is since other glitches worked fine, and my game is fine and not buggy in general. I did this for like 2 hours eventually I switched to dogmeat like you. Removed all his inventory, removed all my junk and used D-Pad. Yes it leveled me up and I could get 14 perks but then I couldn't level up again. WAIT I JUST REALISED. What if the XP gaining was just a bit behind. Omg I'm so dumb lmfao it was just me gaining xp and it was catching up🤣🤣🤣Sorry dude ill delete my comment after you read this so it's not misleading anyone yes?
@@GrossoPro See now that sounds a lot more likely and in line with the glitch than what you first mentioned haha. Glad you realized that's what it likely was :D
@DemonAsylum This is soo underrated though. I only want to level up a tiny bit so I can get armorer perk but this is so op for grinding if u click a couple hundred times you can get so much xp. Very useful! 😄😄
Is there a mod better than the protection armor for exp? I know the protec armor gives 25 exp per craft but is there like any arms or other mods that do way more and work the same?
Get to level 15 > Fast travel a time or 2 so the "Mechanical Menace" quest pops up > Do the first part of the quest where you investigate the location it directs you to and then talk to Ada afterwards. After this point you may already be able to go craft the robot workbench so just go check. If not, complete the first quest and then you definitely can. If you're having issues with the quest popping up than you can also check to see if the "Caravan Distress Frequency" is in your pipboy and listen to that.
I personally haven't yet and likely wont as multiple perks I either don't consider worth grabbing or I just know they wont come into play with my build / playstyle. Still have a ways to go to get the rest of what I want though too haha.
I believe you just have to start the first quest. I personally only had the first quest completed when doing this video, but I believe simply starting it will provide you the ability to make the workbench. Worst case scenario you have to do the first quest. No bigee.
Have you started the DLC? I believe you just need to do that intro part of it where you save and meet Ada. Then she goes to your settlement of choice unless you take her as a companion. After that I think you can make it. If not though than just do the first actual quest of the DLC and then you definitely can as it’s required to continue anyway.
Is this while having the quest already or no? It's called "Mechanical Menace". If no quest and nothing is happening when listening to the radio than fast travel a time or two. Then try again. I recall something similar happening to me and upon a couple of fast travels which also in turn is the game reloading / refreshing in a sense, it triggered my quest.
Another question, maybe you guys can help me. If I put the PS5 on rest mode when I go to sleep, can I continue the glitch later on when I turn it on again?
You're not limited to only doing this once if that's what you're asking. You can exit out of the robot workbench, save, exit, turn your PS5 off, etc. To do the glitch again either repeat the whole process with a new robot or just make another torso mod to have in your inventory and then use it with the glitch on the robot you already made.
@@DemonAsylum Got it, thanks! I just started a new game, rushed to unlock the dlc and started doing the glitch. Need to dupe some components XD Thanks man!
Hey I’m having a bit of trouble. First time I tried this it kept saying you don’t have required stuff. Tried a second time and it wasn’t saying that spammed right on the d pad for a bit then backed out to see if it worked and it did not? Could I be doing something wrong?
@@22QXX112 You get to level 15 so the first quest of the DLC unlocks and pops up. You just do that first quest and then you can make the workbench and do this.
@@DemonAsylum Yeah it shows that I leveled up to the same level (say… 42) over and over. But I didn’t realize that I was at level 37 or somn so it adds it all immediately in the background and then shows the XP counter. So yeah it works really well! Thanks!!!
The torso? What I showed is just the quickest and most ideal for most as well as that gives the most XP. No other part will give more. Some are the same and some are less.
Well rested bonus, lover's embrace bonus, and then having your INT as high as possible whether through glitching it higher with the special book or simply getting consumables like berry mentats that increase it. If your INT is on the average to lower side than getting Idiot Savant will be worth it as well.
The first time i did the glitch i could see my xp counter going up but the second time i couldn't. Is there some way to assure the xp counter shows up while performing the glitch? I already managed to plan my build and estimate what level i should reach, so that would save me a lot of time
I've never had it show up, but any time I've done the glitch I've also never had it not work. It's pretty clear if you're doing it or not though I can understand planning to invest a good bit of time and so being worried it could all be for nothing lmao. Your guaranteed way of knowing would be to get the perk idiot savant and then even if your INT is on the higher side (making it trigger much less often), within the first minute or so of spamming you should have it go off at least once which will of course make it clear you are in fact doing it right and getting XP.
@@DemonAsylum I can perform the glitch but the xp counter goes up only upon exiting the menus while the first time I did it I could se the xp going up while pressing right on the d pad. Maybe you have to enter the glitch while the xp counter is on screen? Who knows?
@@giamba2646 No idea, but it's not a necessary part of the glitch so it isn't really something to be worried about imo. The glitch is very straightforward and it's clear when you've successfully set it up as well as are doing it. Again though, if you want that reassurance than just get idiot savant and it will no doubt trigger at least once in like a minute of spamming.
1. Never doing the bronze statue EVER AGAIN 2. Would it be possible to make a ton of assaultron torsos and just having them laying all over the floors for however many mods and attempts needed to do this to avoid not having the mod period? 3. How long do you have to hold the button down to get to higher levels if I’m doing this from say Level 60?
1. Good, this is much better haha. 2. Seems like a strange way to go about it, but having them on the ground wouldn't do anything for you as is, no. You need a torso mod in your in your inventory to swap to. You could have a bunch in a container and just take one out every time you need it though. However, I feel like this is being overcomplicated as it takes all of 30 seconds to grab your resources and craft a new torso mod for the glitch if needed. 3. You don't hold the button down, you keep pressing it over to the right and every time you do = the game thinking you crafted the mod which of course = XP. As for how long it takes to get to "higher levels" which idk what exactly means haha and from level 60, I just can't possibly give you some kind of accurate time. 60-100 for instance wouldn't be bad at all and especially depending on your INT, having Idiot Savant (if with low INT), XP buffs like well rested, etc.
@@DemonAsylum so I’m back again with some results after testing this, after 1 minute and 30 seconds of spamming right on the d-pad at a button press of around .2 seconds (20 Nanoseconds), started at LVL-60, I can get 2 whole levels. I’m sure if I held a massager or something against the D-pad or something, could get much quicker results. Hope this information is of any use! Edit: this is with lover’s Embrace perk activated and 1 rank into idiot savant, and 8 intelligence, idiot savant has triggered ever 2 torsos “crafted”.
